This is a really nice simple tool, that enables you to connect to any machine that runs the server. It's been an invaluable tool for me as it has meant working remotely on customer sites is made much easier as I can still access my home machine to get files. The daemon server reaches out to every machine on your network running the noMachine app and adds it as an option to connect to - luckily it does still require a password! It can also be locked down tight, and in the past I have allowed people to use my machine without fearof them being able to access everything whilst still giving them a good idea of what the tool I'm writing is supposed to do. NoMachine supplies its remote access program with several security features. The program uses 128-bit encryption, which is standard for the industry. While many of the software on our lineup utilize a superior encryption level, this program also has inactivity timeout, keyboard locking and screen blanking. You also can use the security tab to customise the level of security for your session. You can adjust it so that the screen locks when users connect or require them to ask permission before making a remote desktop connection.
