First, its FREE! Second, it does not affect website loading page. It is indeed lightweight. Third, I have been a fan of Mashable's design, and having Mashshare use the social sharing icons design of Mashable is great. Fourth, it is responsive. Fifth, customization is easy.

Mashshare is lightweight. That alone, makes it the best social sharing plugin I have ever installed. Mashshare is also highly customizable, you can set it to float or top of the bar or just below the post. I also like how I can set the preference to see when the number of likes and share updates. It also gives you the capabilty to set post exclusions and caching time.

I'm not really fond of social sharing plugins, they are heavy on resources, uses external scripts which extremely slows down websites. Well, MashShare is the lightest we have tried and until today we are using it. Attractive design with 3 social buttons by default, Twitter, Facebook and Subscribe Button. We have disabled Subscribe button as we have a popup notification for subscribers, and as well disabled share count, to lessen more resources. Customization is also easy and mashshare does not use external scripts to slow down your website.
