Linux Mint is an open-source lightweight OS with lots of customization and it's completely free to use. It has a nice clean GUI without any lagging. If you want to bring your old PC to life which cannot run Windows then Linux Mint is the way to go.

Linux mint is so minimal and customiable os for the one who needs to understand linux for just moved from windows 7, 10 as well as it's space and ram usages are so low that one can run is on thier father's pc.
