The speed and the UX/UI. As someone who used to be a dev and is now in sales, I still really enjoy using OS' like Kubuntu.

Kubuntu is too good if you dont have one of those high end computers ( 32 GB RAM and TBs of storage). As it is built on core ubuntu, all the benifits of ubuntu(which are huge) are applicable. It's very easy to use, developer friendly, fast and what not. In addition to those this flavour is specially light weight that makes it even better for the low end pcs. In addition since it comes with it's own KDE, there are plenty options available for customization purpose that brings a new feel towards the user experience.

The kde platform is probably the best looking style of linux and the most enjoyable to use
