The product has a good score on my malware-blocking test. It has decent scores from testing labs. The product can impose control on the use of USB, CD/DVD, and diskette drives. It also has USB vaccination. When I opened the folder containing my current collection of malware samples, K7 started picking them off right away. Within a few minutes, it had eliminated two-thirds of the samples. It is also really nice to see such a simple interface, though the Last Updated tile could be swapped out for more relevant information. K7’s Backup option lets you configure your backups to a local drive. The interface is easy enough to use, though it would be nice to see an encryption option for those who want it.
