Pycharm is a great IDE for developing any website based on the Django or flask frameworks, as pycharm has boilerplate code with this boilerplate developer will get a quick start to start coding for the project.

It's sleek, smart, understands the code very well and still has the bells and whistles of its bigger brother - Intellij IDEA. For example database connectivity, understanding SQL, inis, yamls and makefiles are all there for you. Good docker integration, feature-rich and quite performant. IDEs from Jetbrains have been a great help, especially in refactoring code for years for me.

I was using Sublime for very long time (roughly around 7 years) and was very confident that Sublime was the best suited for Ruby development until i find Rubymine. Rubymine is awesome in lot of things. 1. Ease of use - You get all you relevant service like docker, database, mailers, redis and much more in a single window. 2. Intelligent rnough - Rubymine senses your coding style and adopts accordingly. Definition navigation is so easy, where it can easily find even if you have written delegators (normally other IDE like VS code doesn't do correctly) 3. Gem's source file access - You can get access to the source files of Gem easily. 4. Lot of add-ons - It comes with lot of add-ons like github's copilot, docker client and more. 5. Customer support was great in case of any issues with your licensing. 6. Ease of implementation - You could setup Rubymine in less than 15 mins. 7. Ease of integration - Codebase integration with existing project or a new project is like a cake walk. 8. Frequency of use - My primary IDE for ruby dev work
