Instrumentl is the only grants database out there that successfully aggregates all relevant grants. Without it, I'm coming through 3-4 databases to find the same information.

Instrumntl has helped me find donors that I hadn't found through other grant search engines. I'm also very fond of the fact that the donor profiles are broken down by giving areas so that I can easily select the state I'm working in and better see what and where the funder likes to support. The interface is user friendly and I have been able to find and secure new money for a few of my clients. I like having the ability to break down searches by program or capital or capacity (etc) and also by genre, even down to specific animals. Instrumentl has been instrumental (hah) in expanding research opportunities for my clients and I. Further, they've been SUPER responsive to letting us create a plan that works best for us, instead of just locking us in for an entire year.
