I like that all the grants are in one place, before getting my membership I was looking at 7 different sites to find grants. Instrumental does a great job recommending grants that fit. The part to type notes to team members and mark what you have done is very helpful for communication.

Instrumentl seems to be more "intuitive" than most of the search engines I have been using and doesn't require the correct spellings or abbreviations usually to identify a funding opportunity and pull up a profile. I love that all tidbits of information come up onto one neat profile that I can save, share with nonprofit clients or just extract the Intel I need most. I also noted that there are consistently newer IRS 990 reports than on Guidestar, Foundation Directory Online and GrantMatch.
The dynamic nature of the information (Instrumentl constantly searches for new prospects and grant opportunities - the data doesn't just sit there waiting to be found), responsiveness of product and company, the friendly user interface.
