Very easy to pick up and start creating electronic music and backing tracks. Can be used to mix as well as compose, which is great. The ability to quickly create your own tracks for youtube videos, etc. so you don't have to worry about royalty and DMCA is awesome. Heck, even Soulja Boy created his only hit song using FL Studio, so there's that. As well, there are a TON of tutorials which is super helpful for any piece of software, but especially products in the creative space like FL Studio.

You buy it and the updates are free forever. It installs very easily with very little questions and configuration. On the music creation side, there are many tools included to get you going. Multiple versions are available at great prices in my opinion. The quality of the output is professional level.
