I still have trouble trying to work abelton. I have a launch pad trying to figure out how to work it and make songs but cannot do it, it’s too complex. So good thing you can use a launchpad as a midi with fl studio and especially good with the fl 20 update. FL Studio's sequencer and piano roll are two best tools that I used in FL Studio. FL Studio has a great timeline interface and it's easy to arrange your music using blocks that are available in the software. File management is very good for somebody who is a beginner. The price of this software is also very beginner friendly, meaning you don't have to waste a lot of money if you just want to get started. Default sampler that is used for every loaded sample is loaded with options, you can do a lot of things (fade in, fade out, loop, change pitch etc.)
