If you can write even the most basic javascript, you can create a gulp task, it’s really easy to pick up, has a wealth of great plugins availible and can automate all your tasks with ease. Plus because it’s using streaming its really fast. It’s still my prefered build tool, there are loads of devs that have dictched their task managers and are using npm as a build tool instead but most of the time using gulp is faster and more flexible to set up, so is still the one for me.

Good for organizing tests and I like that you can automize tasks like compile CSS to sass.
