I love Gimp! I love that it's accessible to everyone for free so I was able to learn the basics on this program before smoothly transitioning to photoshop for my professional photography. It also has many of the same features, and the sun fare and firefly brushes are a bonus. This software is professional enough to use for paid photoshoots if you practice and know how to use the settings. I also love that you can do compositing and have layers to do so as well
