Froala's text editor UI looks really nice and is easy to implement. It has most of the features you'd expect to see in a rich text editor and is a powerful tool. I like the scope that the library allows for customisation - it's relatively straightforward to add your own custom buttons to the editor toolbar and associate them with your own functions, and I was easily able to implement the image uploading functionality so that images dragged and dropped into document editors by our users are automatically uploaded to our server.

It's really easy to setup Froala with the current frontend frameworks. And it just works out-of-the-box. The best things about the editor is that is fully customizable: features (the toolbar buttons and their actions) and style (css). The big plus that got us using this editor was the inline editing feature. that is really the experience we wanted to deliver to our customers.

Froala editor is a WYSIWYG editor with a comprehensive list of features. The recent version (v3) has a new fresh and clean design that is liked amongst our team and users. What I also like is that it is quite developer friendly. It it is plugin based, so you are able to avoid loading functionalities that you do not use which benefits performance. Froala is available for the most current Javascript frameworks and it can be customized. We tried out a couple of WYSIWYG editors in the early days of our application, now we sticked with Froala for a few years already because of the large amount of features and regular updates.
