It's a multi-backup tool, that can create traditional backups of an entire system or a folder or even a bunch of files, but also can create snapshots similar to Window's System Restore. It allows you to "go back in time" to a earlier state on your computer or restore from a image if needed. When it does work, it does a good job and does what you ask.
