Effective IT alert system to organize IT troubleshooting

What I think the best about xMatters are with its customization and integration with Slack to create alerting system. Easy to connect and access by mobile application and monitor latest alert easily.

So fast notifications that we fix the problem before a customer notice.

Becoming quite attached to xMatters as our notification platform is something important. In addition to sending multiple emails, we are no longer using spreadsheets in our on-call rotations. Just a few weeks ago, a major database outage occurred at 3 AM, and our xMatters totally alerted and called our database team via both Slack and phone calls in a matter of seconds. The integration capability which this platform has is the most beneficial factor for us. As soon as I decided to use simple code snippets to filter alerts, I was able to stop such unnecessary alerts from our monitoring system which previously called on our engineers. The mobile app is great during my commute, allowing me to manage schedule changes on the go.

Everbridge makes emergency communications easy

One of my favorite aspects of the program is the multichannel alerting. The ability to send notifications to a large group through different methods based on incident level is such a useful feature that cuts down on overwhelming individuals with notifications.
