Good things about Everbridge is with its instant system that distribute notification across different communication medium like SMS, email and push-out notification on smartphone. It is easy for administrator to customize notification text using its template and only need to change some text on the template.

xMatters is my favorite tool for handling incidents like after-hours outages. It's so seamless that our SREs can spring into action from any device they might choose to be on - from laptops to mobiles. When we had a cluster and load-balancer issue during the night when, because of xMatters real-time alerts, our team was able to respond to it from their devices in an orchestrated way, containing the incident in 30 minutes, and we could go back to sleep. The monitoring and automated alerts are 24/7, so we never get taken unaware. It's like having an additional view of our infrastructure, which has been pretty stable.

I like it because it helps us with important things to manage important problems and its ability to solve problems in time is useful because it addresses the problems. I also really liked the user interface.
