The treatment of colors, the versatility of brushes and papers and the stunning choice of tools are truely breathtaking. You get predefined brushes for each of the various tools, namely 2 types of oil&acrylic, water color brush, pen, ink, pastel, marker and spray can. Each brush can then be modified and added as yet another brush in your brushes palette. It will also use various modes, e.g. paint, paint&smudge, smudge only or liquify, Or stamp, or fill or erase or.. Among the standout features are watercolors and how they let you run the liquids across the canvas, interacting with the surface of the paper, the tilt and then blowing on it. Or adding more water. Or quick drying it.. - It brings a happy smile on my face each time I use it! Obviously it works best with a graphics tablet and a pen, cintiq comes to mind but tablet computers will also give you the fun of directly seeing what you do. Rebelle offers so many things I had not even dreamed of I am continuously amazed. There are many tutorials and just watching those can take hours.. That being said, one can still jump right in and start painting without spending the time to study each knob.. Escape Motion's support is quick and friendly and there is an active community providing more help; documentaton is pretty good but of course it can't completly hide the power i.e. the complexity of the software.

The Rebelle software accurately emulates color mixing in real life and surpasses any other software in this regard.
