I like that it is an amazing free service. After the short lesson CSS and HTML I was able to create a website for my small business. I have taken many courses on Codecademy and every single one has been easy to use and very informative. Also the instructions and open source in case you get stuck is another really cool feature.

Code Academy has a great line up programming languages to learn from. They make it very easy to use and provides me the ability to take the courses on my own time whenever I want. A majority of the courses I've taken on code academy are very easy to use and they take you step by step in teaching all of the idiosyncrasies of the language you are learning. I've learned Python and R via code academy and could not be happier with how it turned out. They make it actually fun to learn and easy to comprehend compared to reading books and learning that route.

The really intuitive lesson layout and how easy the product is to use are real standouts. While my coding background is very limited (read: basically nonexistent), I'm able to jump right into different programming languages and get a rich understanding of how they work.
