Codecademy community is awesome. Helpful, knowledgeable and, what is the most important, active moderators are a great advantage of codecademy. They are not only eager to help other users, they are also interested in picking those few active guys and turning them into great teachers. I also like the new forum, it's a great place, it was worth waiting for months :)

Free and easy to follow, at your own pace, it is right now the best place to start if you are a complete beginner, like I was. CodeCademy shows you the ABC of coding in an easy, interactive and competent way, not going too deep to scare away newbies, not too shallow to have them learn things in the wrong way. Last but not least, there is a growing community and you can encounter very skilled, dedicated and generous individual to take as mentors or, why not, as friends :)

I love the community which is strongly structured around the idea of building new foundations of knowledge.
