Cludo is easy to use - user experience for those administering search service and for end users making searches on our sites was my highest priority. Cludo has been good for both. The search results are good, it was really easy to implement and it has been easy to customize for our needs. I've also been really happy with their support. Starting with our initial contact with sales, Cludo was faster to respond and more helpful than the other vendors we were considering. Of course, a good sales experience doesn't always translate into a good experience after the fact but in this case, it did. Their support folks have been fast to respond and very knowledgeable then I've contacted them and our account rep regularly checks in and they periodically do a review of our account with us to suggest how we can improve our search, they go over new features and changes and ask for feedback. Finally, as a higher ed institution, accessibility was a must have. Cludo was able to answer our questions about accessibility for their product and was the first to get us a VPAT. Many of their competitors didn’t even know what that was.
