The icons are easily accessible. The homepage is constantly being updated for easier streamline use.

Cerner is visually appealing. I can change colors on my home page and organize this page based on what is important to me. I can establish a relationship with a patient on my unit when I'd like to chart on them, but they are otherwise greyed out; this helps me focus on the patients that are actually on my work load for that shift. I like that there is a dock/table of contents always visible in each chart so if I'm not familiar with where something is, I can easily skim the dock. Additionally, it helps me ensure that I have charted on everything that I need to chart on. I like that there is an option for "other", to comment, and to flag specific information that I've charted. The drop down menu that is available for charting most information such as activity (bedrest, up to wheelchair, toileting at bedside, etc) is comprehensive but sometimes being able to comment is important in clarifying something related to their activity (or anything that was being charted).
