Causal offers great tool which provides flexibility and ease for making financial models and forecasts. It brings an evolved approach to handling how one thinks about formulas and forecasting, growing from the basic functions of excel. The way it is structured makes it incredibly easy to build out formulas and also reduce the risk of formula errors for large spreadsheets/models. The best feature however is the presentation mode which allows stakeholders to change values and see the model and charts to update in real time, without actually overriding the model. This is really helpful for management teams to play with different scenarios when doing planning. The charts and tables, unlike excel, are incredibly easy to build, allowing you to quickly put together a board or management reporting pack. Lastly, the integration with Xero and other accounting/sales packages makes data comparison and extraction much quicker and simpler. In addition to allowing for the creation of budget to actual graphs with the click of a button.

Causal enables us to quickly model how our business is developing, and quickly change assumptions as things change. This has been really important in these crazy COVID-19 times, where control over liquidity etc. has been key.
