It helps to engage people in all levels of the business, from the C-suite, through Business Unit Leaders, functional leaders through to people closer to the 'coal face' who have their part to play. It helps to connect people and parts of the business that may have traditionally been siloed. We really like the automated reporting, which is a huge time saver in a large organisation. It also steers strategists and business leaders towards better quality in the development of their strategies and, used properly, will help to eliminate 'fluff' and repetition in your strategy, ultimately leading to greater efficiency and time-saving. Certainly, anybody using Excel for strategy or strategy implementation needs to look at what this application can offer.
