Axure lets you create not just wireframes or prototypes (e.g. the "flow diagram" option). The "team project" optionscan be helpful when you want to share the project with coworkers o clients for reviewing it. If you have a programming background then the Dynamic Panel interactions will be easier to use for you than if you don't. The Widget manager is easier to use compared with another tools.

Dynamic Panels in unarguably the best feature in Axure 7. It allows users to create beautiful parallax experience.

You can use Axure to create low or high fidelity prototype depending on your need from simple wireframe to fully functioning interactive website or mobile app. It also allows you to publish your prototype to Axshare for easy sharing with your team member or client of the finished prototype.
