Apparity comes with a suite of tools that allow you to not only discover, but rate and record risky spreadsheets and access databases so that you can implement basic SDLC controls in a business friendly environment. Apparity makes it easy by calling out only what has changed for review, and allows you to filter out what you would consider "noise" which allows your reviewers to easily sign off on the changes and get back to work on their day jobs. It also comes with some basic version control if, for some reason you need to roll back to a known, working version of your spreadsheets. Overall this tool fills a gap in the control environment without too much overhead, which lets your first line do their jobs while still mitigating risks. In addition, the customer support has been fantastic, going above and beyond a traditional vendor experience to ensure a seamless deployment and operational phase.
