Ableton has great time stretching features. I also really like the 3 band limiter, and the reverb is great on the stock plug in section.

Above and beyond the thing that keeps me coming back to ableton for certain projects are the audio editing capabilities. The functionalities that make Ableton stand out for me are the Warp functions and the in timeline audio editing abilities. Warp is a dream when you need to create a sample to loop. There are quite a few different algorithms that you can use for how it finds the tempo and beat, that as you use them, you will find what works for what.

Ableton's interface is extremely intuitive, and makes the composition/mixing process fun and speedy. There are shortcuts for almost every action, and adjustable parameters for just about every instrument/effect, making this software versatile enough to handle any genre of music you throw at it. Plugin compatibility is also stellar (for the most part). Overall my favorite DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
