This system sabotaged my business

It’s very unfortunate I am writing this review. After the tremendous losses my business has suffered due to signing up with Zenoti, I find it unfair to not share my experience and warn other business owners. In October 2022 I met with Zenoti. Their amazing sales pitch had me very excited to switch over to their software, as they seemed to be the system I had been looking for. They offered everything I was looking for and more. I signed with Zenoti in November and the import process was nothing less than disastrous to say the least. After a 3-month process of still going through onboarding (which included over 20 hours of phone calls to perfect this system. I was reassured several times that we just needed to get the settings right), I began to have serious concerns that this system would never be set up in a way that was functional for mine or any business. At the end of January, I had gone through so much chaos from clients being continuously charged a deposit when they had a package, clients getting dozens of text messages regarding 1 appointment, clients were never able to properly complete documents they were sent via text message. Our medical direct was never able to efficiently login and sign off on our charts (this was a main reason we switched from our last system), the staff app is completely dysfunctional, reports were inaccurate and I realized I wasn’t adequately paying my staff, clients were double booking rooms and services that were unavailable, our availability would continue to show my staff blocked off for online booking when they were available. All of these are settings that we had set accordingly and none of these issues should have been occurring. These are just a few of the dozens of things that caused daily issues. The stress on myself as a business owner, my staff and my clients has been tremendous. In January we decided we no longer wanted to deal with this and got out of our contract. I requested my export files in January. We got a partial data export at the end of May. I waited 4 months for an initial data export. I was communicating with them daily at this point. I don't believe they were withholding my data, I believe they could not for whatever reason figure out how to extract my data and deliver it to my new system. I am still so confused by all of it. Once my new system received the export, one of the information was accurate and we didn't receive 1/2 of the info in my system. I was only able to import my client info (like name, e-mail, phone, address, etc. I’m so grateful we got this). I am now having to import all my package history and balances and deposit balances manually. I will have to complete this before manually entering my calendar. This will cost me dozens of hours of work. I have lost 4 years of past client treatment history because our old system delivered this information to Zenoti and Zenoti never inputted it into my software and they are unable to provide this to me. This is info I would have gained access to, had I known any of this was possible. We don’t have an export of any client notes or client history for the last 6 months. We’re unable to extract client treatment records from Zenoti. I will have to go in and screen shot over 1000 treatment records from the last 6 months. This company has no business dealing with any business' personal or client information. Beware and know this new system is not ready for what they have taken on.
