What I like best about Shared Contacts for Gmail is that it allows for organizations to share contacts from within. For example, if there is a client that you deal with, but others might need to know their contact information you just add them to the group and can share with ease. You can create multiple different groups as well where you can share data from within. For example, if your team only deals with a specific client, you can just have a group for your team where you add contacts to share with one another.
