Flixier has helped me not only do my podcast editing on it, but also use it for videos. I appreciate the following things: 1) The actual process takes a bit to learn if you have never done audio or video editing before like me, but once I figured out how things work, the process is easy and efficient to create, edit, and export mp3s and videos. 2) The editor is browser based, so I do not have to install any applications on my computer. 3) Version history - similar to a git repository, you can store versions of your media and revert to them if you do something catastrophic (saved me a few times!)
