Appscale is as advertised. With hardly any changes, we could migrate a cloud(GAE) based hospital management solution to appscale. Great support by appscale team on community support emails.

Appscale can run Google App Engine applications

We were able to port our Google App Engine code over to AppScale with very few changes -- mostly related to non-GAE services, like GCP and BigQuery. We haven't had to write code against the lower levels of AppScale (below the App Engine-compatible SDK it provides).
