It is relatively easy to jump into Sigma with little to no working knowledge and still produce something worthwhile. We like the ease of edit and the ability to have multiple workers change a single workbook or design without too much hassle. Data manipulation within Sigma is not as easy for more complex issues. Some simple things such as column merging, mathematical formulas of data, and slicing are more time-consuming than needed which makes big workbooks for large issues time-consuming to initially set up. For workers who are not as savvy with SQL and other programming languages, this is particularly difficult as a lot of the data needs to be edited and queried first or else there won't be enough resources in Sigma itself for them to deal with the data. Many analyses I do are exploratory and pivoting to a different avenue is easy when the query lives right there.
