What bothered me about the HeartMath technology is that the feedback speed clearly has a significant lag, so the feedback is very far from being real-time, which is needed for best results. This means that when trying to meditate or shift one's physiology, if one's thoughts and therefore physiology shift (such as by holding positive thoughts, and then remembering something that is bothering you), then the HeartMath software might reinforce the undesired physiology because of the lag. This is really something that HeartMath should be fixing--there needs to be a higher sample rate per second to allow faster biofeedback, otherwise the value of the technology is limited. So , I have a handy reliable way of telling me how I am feeling right now and keep track of things because many times I feel that I am in a bad mood but the atmosphere around me convinces me that I am not , which puts me in even worse status ; this App solved this problem completely .
