Gosto de usar o Fusion como um bom programa de CAD 3D para fazer designs de peças ou montagens simples. O layout e as funções pareciam principalmente familiares e as pequenas diferenças de outros softwares de CAD que eu havia usado foram relativamente fáceis de se acostumar. O Fusion também parece ser projetado com a colaboração em mente, então trabalhar juntos em designs seria mais fácil (eu pessoalmente não usei muito isso, mas posso ver que seria útil). Uma das maiores vantagens do Fusion é o preço. Tive dificuldade em convencer minha gerência a pagar por CAD 3D devido ao preço, mas o Fusion foi mais fácil de justificar (algo em torno de 10% do custo do Inventor/Solidworks). Encontrei problemas ao tentar criar montagens com vários componentes e restrições/juntas. Às vezes, adicionar uma junta bloqueia inesperadamente toda a montagem, e solucionar/adicionar a junta que estou tentando não é tão intuitivo quanto algo como Solidworks ou Inventor na minha experiência.
Tive uma vez em que perdi todo o meu progresso após trabalhar em um projeto o dia todo (deveria ter salvo periodicamente, mas não o fiz). Acredito que houve um problema com uma referência externa no projeto. Depois de passar cerca de uma hora tentando salvar o projeto ou carregar os arquivos de recuperação automática, desisti e refiz meu trabalho no dia seguinte. Isso só aconteceu uma vez, no entanto.
Converter projetos 3D em desenhos 2D não tem tantos recursos/opções quanto eu gostaria. Se for algo mais do que um esboço rápido, geralmente exporto um arquivo .dwg para o AutoCAD e faço meu desenho 2D a partir daí. Análise coletada por e hospedada no G2.com.

Autodesk Fusion allows the user to work with both meshes from imported .stl files and solids from custom designs within the same file which makes it easy to integrate into my work and I find myself using it frequently to start and complete projects. The program also allows you to switch between both formats, with the ability to easily convert a mesh into a solid to make custom modifications with tools I am familiar with from other CAD software which makes it easy to implement in my design workflow. The timeline of operations that Autodesk Fusion uses makes it more difficult to make adjustments to early design decisions. Unlike CATIA where a specific extrude, chamfer, or other modification is listed underneath the specific object in the object tree, in Autodesk Fusion, all modifications to all objects are listed in the same timeline and it makes it difficult to locate the exact feature I want to tweak. Also, when you duplicate an object to create a different design revision in the same file, I find that the timeline resets and you cannot make edits to features on the object from before you copied it. Workflow is more simplified than other softwares like solidworks and autocad Plant 3D and it include many features like cloud storge of files and team collaboration

It's quick and simple to produce parametric models in fusion. There's a lot of functionality in the product, and it can be very flexible when models are built correctly. It is a somewhat easily to learn interface. Like all Autodesk softwares, there are similaries between them all that make it quick and easy to learn. The toolbar at the top of the screen is the only way I can foresee tasks getting done, and Fusion having it makes it easier than other 3D modeling software to learn.
