**What problems is Zscaler Internet Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An end user was able to paste company data directly into the browser, and we didn’t have visibility into who did it. It would also help to have an option to disable clipboard access from the host to the browser.

  ### 6. Zscaler Internet Access providing great security functionality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sahil G. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?**

ZIA is secure and inspects traffic inline so we dont need any hardware proxies or infrastructure to manage the security for our services. The AI powered capabilities and dashboard is great for visualization, monitoring and alerting. It is easy to use and we can use it at scale.

It has good security features such as secure web gateway, cloud access security broker, data loss prevention, firewall, threat detection, and SSL inspection.

  ### 7. Reliable Cloud Security, but Setup and SSL Inspection Can Be Challenging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monil D. | Full-stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?**

Zscaler Internet Access stands out for its reliable, cloud-based security and performance that remains consistent for all users, no matter where they are located. By shifting all security functions to the cloud, it eliminates the need for traditional, often sluggish security hardware. This approach ensures a smooth and seamless experience, whether you are working in the office or remotely.

**What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?**

What I find most challenging is the complexity involved in the initial setup and managing policies. Additionally, there are occasional instances of latency or slowdowns, particularly noticeable when full SSL inspection is enabled.

**What problems is Zscaler Internet Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditional security approaches required directing all user traffic back to a central corporate data center, often referred to as the "hub," using a VPN so that an on-premises firewall could inspect it. However, this method becomes ineffective when users are distributed across various locations, such as remote sites or branch offices, and when applications are hosted in the cloud, like with SaaS solutions.

How ZIA makes that easy for me: ZIA is a cloud-native security stack that sits between the user and the internet. It routes all internet-bound traffic through its global cloud infrastructure for inspection before it reaches the destination.

  ### 8. A True Game-Changer in Modern Network Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It has completely eliminated the complexity of traditional network security by shifting protection to the cloud. With ZIA, users get secure and consistent access to the internet and SaaS applications — from any device, anywhere — without relying on VPNs or backhauling traffic through data centers. The platform’s Zero Trust model, backed by real-time threat prevention, ensures every connection is inspected and verified without compromising user experience.

**What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?**

There’s very little to dislike. The only minor challenge is that fine-tuning advanced policies requires a bit of hands-on familiarity, but once configured, the environment runs flawlessly and needs minimal maintenance.

**What problems is Zscaler Internet Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ZIA has transformed the way we think about network security. By replacing traditional firewalls and proxies with a cloud-native model, it eliminates bottlenecks and improves speed for remote and on-premises users alike. It ensures uniform security, simplifies administration, and offers deep visibility into user activity. The overall impact has been increased user productivity, stronger data protection, and complete confidence that our organization’s internet traffic remains secure no matter where our teams are working from.

  ### 9. Comprehensive Security Solution with Top-Notch Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarun B. | Design and Implementation Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?**

I appreciate Zscaler Internet Access for eliminating the need for hardware-based proxies, which has significantly simplified our network infrastructure and reduced complexity. The centralized management for Internet traffic across various geographic locations has made it much easier and cost-efficient. I find the diverse features extremely valuable, from cloud scalability and bandwidth control to advanced security features like DLP, firewall, antivirus, and IPS, all integrated into a single management pane. The seamless transition with professional services was smooth, and the security dashboard provides excellent visibility into our security posture, enhancing user-based security rather than relying solely on IP addresses.

**What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?**

I couldn't find any negative thing apart from the geographical restrictions that some geographies put on the Zscaler cloud nodes because they see quite a lot of traffic coming from the same source, public subnets. Considering that this may be malicious content, some geographies tend to block it based on their RAF rules.

**What problems is Zscaler Internet Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zscaler Internet Access eliminates the need for hardware proxies, reducing network complexity. It offers centralized management for internet-bound traffic, enhancing ease and cost efficiency. It provides robust security for networks and remote users, backed by comprehensive dashboard visibility.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsh S. | Senior Associate, Business Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?**

Best thing about zcaler which i like is the ease of use and no specific need of deploying or managing appliances which makes it suitable for an organization with any type of workforce, it being remote, offsite or in office. It is also a full stack of internet security offering an ecosystem advantage

**What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?**

Worst thing about zcaler as a user is that whenever we switch from work from home to in office or change networks anytime, it takes a long time to reconnect or it simply does'nt connect to network, because of which multiple diagnostic steps has to be taken.

**What problems is Zscaler Internet Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Secure internet access which keeps our data safe and prevent from connecting to unsafe networks
2. Different layer of security at different work environments. ex work from home, in office, off site etc
