Zorin UI is something very smooth and easy to use similar to Windows Os. You will feel comfortable to use it even if you're coming from Windows OS. Beside that it have better control management system then other linux Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zorin OS sometimes become buggy because of new updates maybe they need to look into it before pushing updates for all users and beside that need to make driver compability more better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The upsides of Zorin are its look, it is very simple to personalize and has way too many options for the desktop loop. Also, since it is Ubuntu based, you can modify the system the same as in Ubuntu, with a lot of documentation online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it has a boot time about the same as in Ubuntu, but for some seconds Ubuntu wins the race. I'm not affected by this, but it is one of its downsides, asides from that it has nothing to loose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quite easy to use and understand even for someone shifting to Linux from Windows OS and the most important thing for developers, "The Terminal"! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-> Frequent system updates.
-> Some softwares/games are incompatible with Linux.
-> GUI intensive, so sometimes laggy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that it is very similar to windows, thus it helped me switch from windows to zorion os without the headache of learning and adapting to typical Linux UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no downside particularly related to my daily usage, I have installed it on my personal laptop which made it really face compared to windows 11 that I had earlier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

customisable, safe and secure, updates regularly for gliches and bugs and extremely user friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Frequency of updates is a lot, incompatibility with many of the important softwares Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Best there is to experience about zorin is the look and feel of its gnome interface which provide more flexibility in customising the theme . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its software center is a bit incomplete and I need to rely on snap store to install apps via command line Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That audio works. As in... LMMS, Ardour, Rosegarden, Audacity. Before this, I tried everything. And by everything I mean Ubuntu Studio, Kubuntu, MX Linux, AV Linux, IO Linux, I was literally getting desperate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I NEED to be able to use [alt] right click drag to resize ANY window from ANY part of that window. [alt][f8] is nice and all, but it does not ALWAYS work for ANY resizable window. For example: Software app v 3.36.1 (core app yeah?).Copyright © 2016-2019 Richard Hughes, Matthias Clasen, Kalev Lember. I can resize this with my mouse, and with [alt] right mouse drag under KUBUNTU but not Zorin sadly. Terrible shame. [alt][f8 ] does not work on this window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of Zorin is how comparable it is to the Windows OS. It has a similar look and feel to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
underneath it’s Ubuntu. So it's still a Linux operating system. If you're not familiar with Linux, it can be a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Zorin Lite 64-Bits version for quite a long time. What I really like the best is that they provide us very similar interfaces like windows and mac os so you wont be suffering from the interface like other Linux distributions. It's is lightweight so it can be run on old laptops also like mine. Zorin os is ubuntu based so you will be find all the software updates on time and For Windows users they provide Libre office which can replace Microsoft office for sure. Zorin os gives us every reason to replace windows with it. Really Cool and useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing which I don't like that is when our system goes to sleep Zorin os will not wake up from sleep/suspend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
