What I love most about Zoom is how it brings people closer, no matter how far apart they are. I appreciate how it makes communication so easy, whether it’s for work or connecting with family and friends. For me, Zoom sometimes feels like a small window to the world, where we can share ideas, learn new things, and build stronger relationships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Zoom is that it sometimes makes communication feel too formal, even in moments when we need more spontaneity. Additionally, the overload of virtual meetings can feel exhausting at times, as they lack the warmth of in-person interactions, where we can read body language and connect on a deeper level. I have always found it very user-friendly. Zoom introduced me to my first online meeting and client coaching session. It was very easy to set up. I also like that I can easily acess all my meetings, past, current and future with the click of a button. Editing my meetings is also straight forward - and you can edit an entire recurring meetings at once. It is also easy to access recordings of my meetings. There are a lot of tools and capabilities that are available and make my meetings go smoothly. I also like that there is no limit to the number of times I use the platform. I've used many different platforms for video calling, and Zoom has hands-down been the best option for me for weekly video calls. It's universal and easy for anyone to use, even if they do not have the Zoom app. Connections are always clear and seamless, and it's extremely easy to present from this platform. Zoom is great for sharing screens, recording, taking notes, AI summaries, and real-time chat. It also integrates easily with Google Calendar and my contacts. I use this multiple times a week without any issues. It requires occasional system updates, but those are completely within minutes. It's easy to install on devices. What I find to be helpful about Zoom Workplace is the ability to call, set up meetings, and chat all in one platform. The app for both my desktop & phone work sufficiently.
