It is very accurate with what's good/bad and quarantines any questionable emails. **What do you dislike about Zix Email Threat Protection?** There are MANY email content rules, filters and settings to adjust, so getting the program initially fine-tuned was a little bit of an undertaking. But at the same time having this much control isn't a bad thing at all. **What problems is Zix Email Threat Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were wasting a lot of time deleting and combing through spam emails prior to Zix. Zix also has the ability to scan attachments as well as website links within emails, which prevents users from opening or accessing malicious files/sites. ### 2. We are able to fine tune the filter to exactly what we needed. **What do you dislike about Zix Email Threat Protection?** I do not like the inability to create a custom bypass code. A code I can give to a sender that is having issues getting through the filter that I can completely bypass the filters all together. It can slow down receiving critical emails when something is blocking it. **Recommendations to others considering Zix Email Threat Protection:** do not wait, it is worth the effort and cost. **What problems is Zix Email Threat Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were receiving over 60,000+ spam a month. This has greatly reduced the amount of time in a day the 100 users are dealing with junk email. ### 3. It works just as well as any other solution available today and you get to reduce your number of vendors, admin consoles and platforms. **What do you dislike about Zix Email Threat Protection?** So far I don't have any complaints or dislikes. Building on and improving the DLP would be a good add-on. **Recommendations to others considering Zix Email Threat Protection:** Build more advanced DLP into Zix Protect as opposed to a stand alone product. **What problems is Zix Email Threat Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have seen a good reduction in spam, malware and even phishing. Keeping these out of the users mailboxes is a good start at protecting your network. ### 4. I like how they provide a daily update of spam, easy to navigate, and also provide security whenever I receive an email or have a link to open. **What do you dislike about Zix Email Threat Protection?** I did have my main work email hacked recently, though Zix did make me aware and also intercepted attempted hack on another of my emails. **Recommendations to others considering Zix Email Threat Protection:** So far has been a good addition to our IT security team as we're always seeking ways to ensure safeguarding our emails, website and web presence, etc. **What problems is Zix Email Threat Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Given my role, my work email is exposed and "out there" more than just about anyone else's where I work, as I'm the media relations person here; in fact, my email is the only one you can find on our website. As a result, having a secure system that can clean out spam, stave off viruses and keep the flow of my email going is paramount. ### 5. Hasn't been designated a priority to expand just an observation. Out of band SMS would be a good fit for encryption portal security. **What problems is Zix Email Threat Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Encryption. Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Attachment Blocking. Effortless reporting functions to validate task are being completed. ### 6. Excellent product that solves a rampant problem. Great product(s). **What do you dislike about Zix Email Threat Protection?** No major complaints at the moment with the product. Email encryption is never something that is welcome by our customers (recipients) so from that aspect anything they can do to make the end user experience more friendly, then the better off we all are. Fairly new to the Spam Protection piece with Zix, but so far no complaints. **What problems is Zix Email Threat Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Compliance with the government requirements of HIPAA and SOCS regulations for the Zix Encryption, and with the Zix Protect we now have a much better ability to guard against the imbedded weblinks that can carry malware etc. ### 8.
