I'd love to have the ability to produce numerous screenshots, that will be instantly saved to the account of mine. This will save me time when compared with the application program I applied before, before I've to conserve screenshots between them by hand. I have not tried the film but still, therefore I cannot say something about it, though I have not purchased the film. Nevertheless, I'd love having the chance down the road in case I want it. With this solution, all functions are not compatible with macos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
things i like about CloudApp:
1. integration with my custom subdomain
2. drop URLs are copied and can be pasted immediately, no waiting for the upload to finish
3. highlighter tool is a straight line instead of freehand
4. i love the spotlight feature for screenshots
5. screencasts are simple and effective Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
features i wish CloudApp offered:
1. when taking a screenshot, i wish the cursor turned into a magnifying glass (zoom in on content). sometimes i want to take a screenshot of specific pixel areas or quickly measure something. a zoom feature would solve that.
2. the white pixel text on screenshots can be hard to read sometimes. it would be nice if the font was black or larger font.
3. after taking a screenshot, the zoom level varies on the image. i like being able to zoom in or out, but i wish the zoom level defaulted to 100% instead of varying. different zoom levels means my annotations vary in size based on the zoom level. defaulting to 100% would fix that issue.
4. additional annotation sizes/widths would be nice. three sizes feels limiting at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My 2 favorite areas of CloudApp are GIF & editing functions. This enables me to rapidly find out what I am performing and also send it with the client/expert. I did not believe I appreciated the instant download feature either, though it is good to use a hyperlink within the clipboard which I could easily put in into Slack when I am trying to rapidly take a step for a coworker. CloudApp crashed several times on the latest version of macOS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Capture and annotate quickly, share links on any platform, anywhere. Service uptime is over my expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think mac app should only stay on status bar, and hidden on menu bar. I force quit CloudApp too often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how fast it is to take a screen shot, create a box around where your teammate needs to click and even go so far as to put a big arrow pointing to that area. We also use it for support documents to make screen shots and walk throughs right through Cloud App. Not to mention quick screen recordings for tutorials and support. There were some bugs originally but the customer support as always been top notch and they have a great system built now with very few bugs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of use. The ability to use it directly from the top menu bar makes the use seamless.
The ability to quickly and easily capture screen shots, videos and other key things makes this a tool I use at least a dozen times a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any negative feedback. It works exactly as it needs to and I have not ever had an issue with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple interface - very easy to make images and easy to share those images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recently, it has started hanging my machine almost every time I try to take a screenshot or video. It used to happen occasionally, now it is quite frequent.
Additionally, every time CloudApp updates, it forgets all my settings. Last time, it had switched me to defaulting to capturing MP4s (used to default to animated gifs). There were one or two other things I had to update too.
Since the last update, CloudApp is no longer a "background" app, and also refuses to start on login. Even though I tell it to start on login, it does not, and when I run it manually, it sits there for me to skip over every time I try to switch apps.
The only reason I use cloudapp at this point is because I don't know of another product that is as simple. Makes me want to start a competitor, to be honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CloudApp is literally a tool I use every day, in every part of my word. My favorite feature of CloudAPP is the ability to share screenshots via a CloudApp URL within moments of having taken them. I'm also a fan of the ease of adding annotations to screenshots, and of being able to take very quick screen recordings. I've tried many a screenshot app and this one is the best! As a Basecamp 2 user, I'm not able to paste a URL into a Basecamp message and have the screenshot render (it stays a link). I can work around this by going to the screenshot URL and dragging them image into the Basecamp image, but it's obviously not as convenient as just pasting a link in. Since I also use Basecamp ALL THE TIME, this is a big of a drag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it captures screenshots and turns them into URL links. Since I work a lot in spreadsheets, it's the perfect way to communicate information given the constraints of spreadsheets. The ability to capture video is also a super helpful non-verbal way to communicate information quickly. I use both of these features daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I really don't have any complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CloudApp is so easy to use. I am always taking screenshots, sending short GIFs or videos when I have a technical problem with a software and also sending short videos to help people do something. It also tells me when someone has viewed it.
The great thing is that it creates a unique URL for each item - so really easy to share/cope&paste. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing particular that I dislike about it. Sometimes it tells me someone has viewed it immediately after I've taken a screenshot and before I send it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
