CloudApp makes the ability to record your screen as easy as possible. It has a great user interface that is easy to understand. The ability to record in the cloud and immediately share files is invaluable. I love how it can live on my desktop and within seconds I can record a video to send to clients or customers. I have not found anything I dislike with this program. It has made the screen recording and capturing very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CloudApp integrate perfectly in our daily workflows. For feature or support requests, just contact the CloudApp team and you receive a fast response. The integration into MacOS and Windows well done. I like that I'm able to have my own domain name for my file links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I need to rethink, if I ever disliked anything.......... No, nothing to say. Really - there is nothing I miss in this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to use and valuable for professionals looking to share their findings and insights quickly with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only con is that the shortcut command is shared by other shortcuts I use (Google Docs for example). Other than that, great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Especially in a digital work environment screenshots and screen casts are mission critical. Cloudapp makes it very easy to take screenshots and share them with colleagues. I also like the collections so i can save ones in groups that I need to remember. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was better search functionality. I have a photographic memory in the sense that i might remember a word or color or logo or phrase in the screenshot. It would be great to search the text within the screenshot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CloudApp takes the thought process out of quickly sharing files, documents, images, video and more. I can generate anything and drop it into CloudApp for a quick link to share things efficiently and quickly - and know when people click it. Nice to not have to worry about storage constraints or server maintenance when sharing things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Starting shortly after 5.8 and on into 6.x CloudApp has not been capturing GIFs and videos directly for me on all of my workstations. Some identical systems work fine while others do not. It's frustrating, but the core service is still of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps me to connect quickly with our customers by providing them step by step custom guides or tutorials. They love it when they hear me saying their names out loud, and explaining stuff directly in their accounts.
After discovering Cloudapp five years ago, I have started to use it out of my work tasks too - for instance, to explain tasks that I want to delegate in my side projects or even to explain how to do stuff to my family living abroad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recent updates include the option to record yourself that is automatically enabled by default, and I didn't find a way to disable that option yet (even if I contacted support about it)
From time to time, whenever you get an update, you might have some bugs in your account, but nothing that can be solved after exchanging a couple emails with their suppport team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Decluttering my desktop of screenshots! I used it for work long enough that now I installed it on my home laptop too. I love it for quickly sharing screenshots but also recording gifs and just about anything to do with screenrecording or images. I also use it for image storage fairly often which is probably not smart but I do it anyway! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For a while there there were a bunch of updates going on but now it seems to have evened out. No real dislikes at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of use. They offer options to take screenshots, record your screen (or a small section of it), gifs, as well as annotate screenshots or uploads as well. In my job, we do a lot of mock-ups and changes, my favorite feature is annotate. It's simple to understanding and allows for quick arrows, lines, color changes, boxes, blurs, etc. and it really does cut down my time doing medial tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike anything about the tool! Anytime that I'm using a computer or desktop that doesn't have CloudApp, I find myself looking up to the top right wishing it was there. It is the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloud app is easy to use - it sets in your toolbar, and you can click it, and within 15 seconds you can have your screenshot, gif, or video saved. I can click and drag the screenshots I make right into emails, tickets, or presentations - or, I can save the link and send that over.
It also saves previous screenshots for me, which is very useful. I like that I can tell when/who opens the screenshot.
I've been really liking the gif feature for presentations as well - it's very easy to highlight an area, record, and then just click and drop it into a presentation.
For video, I like that it's easy to screen grab, record (with or without cam/audio) and send it to someone. It's been helpful in explaining issues or solutions for clients.
For explaining things in just a screenshot, the annotate feature is excellent. I can add arrows/boxes/circles, change coloring and even add text. It's made my work life a lot easier and more efficient!
I've recommended it to co-workers and clients alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't say much about why I dislike it! The only issues I've had is when it crashed, which is rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
