I love how easy is it to take screenshots with CloudApp. I just click on the icon at the top of my screen, and select the area that I want to save. It is completely seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The sound that the app makes when it takes a screenshot is actually really annoying. To make make matters worse, it also makes the same annoying sound when you copy the image to your clipboard. The other thing I don't like about the app is that is does not automatically copy the image to your clipboard; rather, it instead automatically copies a link to the image from CloudApp's server. When I first started working at my company I noticed everyone was using CloudApp and I was still relying on CMD + SHIFT + 4 for screenshots. I was slow to make the transition but picked it up quickly because of how EASY it is to do. Because of CloudApp I conserve a great deal of time since it's really convenient to upload, delete and also share documents. Rather than attempting to create and email most suggestions and comments, I basically have to have a perspective which can make our ideas more clear and stay away from misunderstandings. I don't like that once a video/screen shot is created, there isn't an opportunity to name it right away. Would be nice if as soon as it was recorded, a naming pop-up box appeared. This is not a big deal though, I can go into the library, watch a little of the clip to see what it is, and then name it myself. A little extra step I could do without.
