**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Ziflow is so easy to use! It makes compliance reviews so much easier. I love that you can insert comments directly connected to the marketing pieces. The repository of the marketing approvals is amazing. Everything is kept in one place with all the steps of the approval process documented.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

I can't think of anything that I dislike about Ziflow! Honestly, this has been one of the best things we have implemented at the Bank. I couldn't say enough good things about Ziflow!

Ziflow helped track all our marketing reviews and keeps everything in one place. It's so much easier to go into Ziflow to pull information on our marketing reviews when examiners come in!

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Everything. The ability to have people make their edits collaboratively. The ease of use. The ability to compare previous versions, etc. All handy tools that makes my job easier.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

it doesn't have the check mark that Proof HQ had so that I can mark off as I edit, but I just comment DONE. That the basic subscription level doesn't have as many bells and whistles that are needed. I wish the drawing tools were visible when you open proof (instead of only when you press comment) because so many reviewers don't know there are tools until they press comment and miss them. I wish when they comment, it would require them to locate the area they are commenting about because so many reviewers forget to link their comments to a section and I have no idea what they are speaking about. Some of the tools like INSERT or REMOVE or REPLACE are challenging for reviewers so they use wrong one and I have to figure out which they mean. I wish it were more obvious. The video and URL option doesn't always work well (maybe is in upgraded version in which case it should be in all subscription levels). I wish stages were included in first subscription level.

It allows me to expedite and track reviewer edits in one place. It also alerts me of comments so I can watch them and answer questions in real-time. It allows me to add internal and external reviewers. So many benefits.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Our company needed a proofing software that would work for both internal and client-facing workflows. Before finding Ziflow, we looked at many different platforms, but none suited us as well as Ziflow. The ability to have various stages, add new versions, and have multiple proofers with one decision maker were exactly what we were looking for. We love the text tools and the ability to mark comments with labels. Ziflow has been a game changer for us.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

The one thing that was a bit of a learning curve for our clients was that there were so many tools to choose from. A slightly simplified version for those who are a little less tech savvy would be a great addition.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a software that could be used for internal and client facing proofing. Ziflow solved that for us. We are now able to internally edit a proof and then transition it to be approved by a client.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

It's so hard to gauge my design clients' apps, PDF viewers, and level of tech experience when reviewing graphics. Ziflow makes it so easy for a client to go in, click on exactly a point in the graphic and provide feedback or request something. It makes life so much easier!

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

Nothing really! I'm using the free/Personal package and that works for me! I think it's straightforward to use and share with team members. You'd have to be really tech-challenged to not figure it out...

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlines the review process of creative concepts for graphics, website layouts, book covers, PDFs, handouts, brochures, presentations, and more. Really easy for my clients to collect their thoughts and feedback.

Our only issue is that some of our partners don't use Ziflow, so we have to try and share our account and that can be a challenge.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

It's very easy to use, I can post documents in less than 5 minutes and everyone that needs to be in the know gets notified instantly.  On the other hand, I get notified when compliance and/or legal have comments on my post. These notifications helps docs get approved fast and it's easy to know who needs to make changes/comments.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

Only one person can add versions to the original post. When the owner is OOO it's hard to have someone else post a new version and keep following up. 
I personally get annoyed when only one person approves (the only one that needs to approve) but the post is still showing as unapproved. It's just hard to keep track of what's approved and what isn't when you look at the dashboard.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ziflow to get marketing comms approved by legal and compliance. Everything we launch needs to be approved, getting things approved via Ziflow helps us keep track if we ever have issues with stuff that was launched. We can always go back and see who in legal approved it and why.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

- Hourly digest comes in at the top of each hour, not an hour from when you created the proof
- Has a pixel ruler!
- You can link to a webpage
- I like that I can click a ‘reply’ link in my hourly digest email and it takes me straight to that comment on that proof in Ziflow. 🙂 Can’t click through to it from ‘activity’ on the proof details screen though… 😕 
- You can download the comments as a PDF - useful for handovers to other team members etc.
- If you have more than 1 file to review, it notifies you about all the remaining reviews you have to do once you approve/reject one

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

- ‘Live’ previews of view in browser link require Ziflow extension - not great UX for clients if we wanted to use this feature
- Started trying to end my session - ooh that’ll be annoying
- Fairly spammy - email confirmations for everything! Although it’s possible to set what types of notifications both you and your reviewers receive, so this is probably fixable!
- Keep getting “computer says no!” or equivalent messages - might not like my bandwidth or lack thereof.
- You don’t seem to be able to update a visual without deleting it and when you click on the deleted visual you get this: https://dotdigital.ziflow.io/proof/proof-deleted
- When reviewing html files, when you click on comments it does not highlight them on the visual. You have to click on individual comments to see where these are at in the design.
- In the proof dashboard we can only see the owner of the project, but we cannot quickly see the collaborators in this project/clients. It would be nice to see to whom it was sent to without having to click on a proof to get this information.
- The progress bar in the proof dashboard is not very accurate. All reviewers need to open the design for example for the “O” symbol to become green. It can be misleading for us as we tend to send to people reviews that do not open it, the key person opens it and we do not see that in the review process. I mean it is a small thing, but we may find it annoying in the long run, if we are not able to use this progress bar.
- It was not easy for me to start proofing a visual. The “comment” button was not in a prominent place, I was trying to find something within the design, a CTA. It did not feel like the easiest proofing tool to use for the first time! I feel that some people want to “highlight” or “markup” and not necessarily want to comment straight away. I felt like that and the CTA “Comment” did not feel the right button to press as I was trying to highlight something in the design before making any comments.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A centralised hub to proof design approvals without the need for exporting and sharing PDFs messily among certain stakeholders, and avoiding the potential problem of them sharing the PDF link with unauthorised reviewers. All comments clearly accessible in one place.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

My favorite feature, and the one that made me select Ziflow as a tool in the first place, is the ability to rotate proofs 360 degrees. My team works on packaging with up to 5 sides and reviewers need the ability to turn artwork around to proof all sides. I also love the @mention feature as well as the ability to attach files to comments. Having worked with Ziflow for over a year, I find it's super easy to use and love that they're constantly adding features. Deployment within my organization was quick and painless, I sent an email with a quick overview of the main functions and within a day, my team was reviewing proofs and making decisions on them.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

The search feature isn't my favorite aspect. If I'm looking for an old proof and type in a keyword, it doesn't always show up in search results and when that's the case, I need to dig through my folders to find it and since I have a lot of projects, that can be time consuming.

**Recommendations to others considering Ziflow:**

Fantastic platform, so easy to get started and great customer service to boot!

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of projects, comments, revisions, timelines and most importantly proof approval. My company undergoes regulatory audits on a regular basis so we needed to have all our packaging (and the history of changes on every single package) in one place, Ziflow has been the perfect solution. It was super easy to use from the start. We signed on for a free trial and within a week, my team unanimously decided to keep using it. My account manager walked me through the main features and I was off and running. I've used the platform almost daily since.

The commenting and annotation tools make it so easy to quickly run through a clearly ID what and where attention is needed for the primary creator using the app.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

It's pretty rock solid. Perhaps it would be a nice feature to see the status of approvals for all defined collaborators somewhere clear along the top by default when you click into a review.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick feedback on fast-moving projects that require multiple QA steps before publishing. If we had to do this in Google Apps or something similar we would be much less productive and reliant on a feature wrapped within a larger app vs. a purpose-built tool.

Ziflow has taken our old online proofing platform, exanded upon it and make our jobs a lot easier. It's also exteremely user friendly on any aspects that are customer facing.

It's hard to find something about Ziflow that I don't like. I could imagine if one were setting it up on their own it could be seen as a bit overwhelming, but the team at Ziflow is there for you every step of the way.

Ziflow is solving the problem of having an easily accessable from anywhere proofing platform that is intuitive for both us as a company and our customers as the end users.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Ease of use and navigation. Compared to software that I have used in the past, ZiFlow is by far my favorite. We mostly use Adobe Acrobat-generated PDFs for our reviews. As an agency, we do not use ZiFlow to its full potential.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

There is not much that I dislike.  There are sometimes glitches (rarely) such as comments not pointing to a specific part of a page, but just pointing into gray space. Another thing would be how it displays the colors of a PDF incorrectly sometimes. Usually, that is fine since we are reviewing the content, but some people, unfortunately, do look at the ZiFlow proof as the end all be all of how a job actually looks. That's all I can think of at the moment.

Get on it!

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pushing jobs through our team is made possible by ZiFlow. The ability to communicate within ZiFlow is super helpful (but also very cumbersome when you have to read through people's conversations to get to an actionable comment). But that's a user problem, not a software problem ;)

Checking on the status of a project. It is nice to see who has opened the file and where it may be stuck. I also enjoy sending reminder notifications. It is great because I don't have to continue to check in with people via email. Everything is done and managed through Ziflow before getting full approval. Very simple and user-friendly!

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

I wish there were a better way to organize all my files on the dashboard. I have a lot of files and documents uploaded. I wish it were more intuitive on how I can organize those into folders to clean up the dashboard.

By not having to go back and forth through email with a bunch of people, Ziflow allows me to see everyone's comments and make quick changes to get the document approved promptly. Now that we use Ziflow, I see how big of a problem it was before we implemented this software.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Ziflow allows our team to communicate quickly and directly regarding proofing projects. Instead of tracking down multiple emails / messages / texts, we can just log into Ziflow and see everyone's notes.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

I have not encountered anything to dislike that's a Zifow issue. You do need to put some work in to get Ziflow set up to work for your needs, but it's straightforward to set up and relatively intuitive to use.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we were constantly chasing down various communications and manually reminding people via email / text / Slack / What's App messages to proof a project. Once we set up our workflows, Ziflow corrals all the communications into one location and reminds team members automatically when deliverables are coming up, due, and past due. This is especially helpful because some of our proofing team is in Asia, so communication happens around the clock and it's easy to miss a Slack message that comes through at 3am EST. It also makes it much simpler to manage the progress of multiple team members and ensure that every step is completed and nothing is overlooked.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

I really appreciate that Ziflow integrates directly with Final Cut Pro X so that I can send videos to my clients for approval in just a few clicks.  It has saved me (and my clients) from lots of back and forth emails, losing track of which version is most current, and I also use it for script approvals as well.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

I really don't have anything bad to say - but a feature that I would appreciate would be to have a default set of reviewers/approvers built into a folder so that once I upload a video, I don't have to go to the website to add them.  That takes just a few extra seconds though, so it's not a big deal.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do a large volume of :30 television spots for an international broadcast network.  We have to move fast to keep up with the work, and the biggest challenge was having the appropriate parties review and approve the spots.  I was constantly having to follow up to ask them if they have reviewed a particular spot.  Since we started using Ziflow, the review and approval process is SO much easier.  It probably saves me at least an hour of work for each spot.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

As a creative, there are two main ways that I used Ziflow: 1) As a content reviewer, and 2) As a content creator/producer. (There's also a project management side, but in our agency that was more for the account people).


1) As a content reviewer, I've used a few different proofing/project management tools — including Workfront, InVision and Adobe. Ziflow is — without question — the best proofing tool I've ever used for reviewing and commenting on creative assets. 

I've used it for reviewing imagery, videos, emails, social assets, print pieces, posters, signs and more. It's robust enough to not only handle a variety of files and formats, but it also gives you plenty of options on comments — from text to visuals. So you can always make your feedback crystal clear. It also gives you one central place to comment and keep track of the versions. 

Other proofing tools don't allow this collaboration as elegantly. I've also been able to review large-volume projects, with hundreds and hundreds of banners, and Ziflow has made it efficient. 

PRO TIP: Use the "Compare Mode" to see two versions of your proof side by side. This is the best and easiest way to see if your requested changes made it into the latest version. 

2) As a content creator, Ziflow is also a best-in-class product as you can upload assets and create proofs in a few minutes. The best part of the tool for creators is that it keeps all your feedback in one spot. You won't have to churn through emails or page through PDFs to find that one comment from that one stakeholder.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

The negatives on Ziflow are few and far between. 

° For content reviewers, I really can't think of any. Even for the least tech-savvy individuals, Ziflow is pretty intuitive. It should only take you a few uses to get the hang of most of the proofing tools. And the other modes and tools (like Compare Mode mentioned above), you'll have to get a little training or — if you're like me — you'll just stumble across it by playing around with the program a little. 

° For content creators, one thing that I would mention is that the learning curve will be a bit steeper. You will need a little bit of training (and a couple of proofs posted) before you get the hang of it. But once you figure it out, it will save you a ton of time and stress by having all your relevant feedback in one, easy spot.

A mini wishlist:

° I do wish there was a way to link comments between proofs. For example, if you want to reference comment #25 on V1 and you're currently on V3, it would be awesome if there was a way Ziflow could do a screen cap of that comment or have a separate pop-up window. That way you won't lose your spot on V3 clicking back to V1.

° When you comment on multiple pages, the proof tends to get so small that you can't even see it. We've had proofs where it would downsize the view to 1% b/c Ziflow wanted to show me all the instances where it needed to be changed. Poor PDF rendering quality (until you zoom in), slow to respond to input, page preview sidebar doesn't track with currently viewed comment (and vice versa, if filtering only comments  on current page, switching pages from sidebar does not update comment view), page preview bar is not persistent beween sessions/routes, can't submit comments with resolve button, can't exit an in-progress comment to view another without losing what you've typed, zoom tool often only zooms by a few percent per click...yeah a lot of small issues that add up.

**Recommendations to others considering Ziflow:**

Give it a shot. It's pretty good and they are updating it. But be prepared for some growing pains and slightly underwhelming performance.

Easy to utilize browser add-ons so the customer doesn't have a learning curve of using the utility.  Easy to use, comment, markup, approve, reject, etc.

None really at this time.  It is definitely built for a team collaboration process, so as a soloist there are features I don't necessarily need.  However you do have the capability to set things up to be more streamlined (like removing pre-approvals internally and workflow steps like that) that will get you where you want to go.

Solving simple feedback from the client.  It is much easier for them to be able to type in and mark up their changes, so there is no confusion of what they wanted and it reduces the "oh and one more thing" emails to keep up with.  Also keeps a great before/after chain of custody and helps solidify approval of finished work without question,  Much more efficient proofing process.

I love that Ziflow helps my team manage version control issues that have arisen using other tools for editing and collaboration. 
Ziflow makes it so simple to keep track of changes and include members of your team at the right points of contact. 
I store all my ongoing projects in Ziflow and simply ping my team members when a proof is ready for review. 
I was totally new to Ziflow before starting this position and I was able to be trained to use it effectively in just half an hour. 
Highly recommend especially for remote teams!

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

The only characteristic about Ziflow that I have found limiting is the fact that you can't edit documents directly in the program. 
Documents have to be uploaded from a separate source but cannot be edited directly within Ziflow. 
This causes some back and forth between various locations but ultimately is an effective safeguard for managing those version control issues.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated before, our team really struggled with version control prior to migrating to Ziflow. We would have teams sharing documents with each other and making edits without tracking them, causing major problems in the editorial review process. 
Through Ziflow, we have streamlined our editorial process and helped keep only the sets of eyes on things where they need to be. 
Ziflow helps us control the number of cooks in the kitchen on any given project and helps us visualize the evolution of a document from start to finish.

I find there are a lot of notifications and it's hard to keep track of them. The workflow owner is getting too many notifications and it's hard to reduce them in the different options. Ziflow offers a clear overview of all versions of a proof. It's very easy to share a proof with a cliënt or colleagues and set multiple (automated) proofing stages. Comparing previous versions works great and because you don't need flash it's very lightweight.

The interface is great. Superior UI and ease of use are two of the biggest features of Ziflow. The ability to have our customers and clients view, proof and comment on their projects without relying on a static pdf enhances our ability to make sure everything is correct and buttoned down before it goes to the printer or is published on our website.

Not much. The only issue first time users have is finding the page forward/backward buttons. They seem to be buried at the bottom of the screen and users have a hard time knowing that there may be multiple pages in a proof.

Straight forward approach to the software, easy to use for me and my clients. I really enjoy the communication that ziflow allows with my clients, instead of having to email back and forth. I have seen this proofing process work for over 1 year and I am just amazed at how much more I enjoy keeping everything in one place. I do wish I wouldn't get so many emails from the proofing software, but that is minor compared to the output I get of approvals!

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

Customer service availability could use some love. I usually just have to leave a message and sometimes I don't always get a call back. I would love to see a desktop notification for when someone comments or responds to a proof rather than an email. I think it would be more beneficial to turn it into a desktop app to streamline the process better! I also wish their was a way to make the clients views easier. I always seem to get an email back from the clients instead of a comment on the actual software. I wish there was a way to help figure out that process better. It may just be me too, Not sure what I can do to help that situation.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Ziflow made the video submission process during one of my video projects efficient.  Ziflow was easy to use and get acclimated to using, and it made the process much smoother when it came to submitting the client's video for review.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

There was nothing right off that I disliked about working with Ziflow.   There is nothing that I can think of that would make Ziflow better at this point in time.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the time, Ziflow was solving the problem of submitting rough edits of videos to the clients that I worked with.  Ziflow made it much easier to submit than sending an email or a share link through email.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

The thumbnails are good. 
The search filter is quick and responsive.
The compare proof versions is good.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

There is no scrolling from page to page. 
The pages don't render clearly, compared to viewing a PDF in Acrobat. 
When multiple annotations are close to / on top of each other, it becomes confusing and the comments don't display properly, so you have to Switch to New Layout.
The green Submit decision button at the top of the proof, covers the name of the proof, so you can't see the name of a file that is longer than 30 characters.
The Ziflow Adobe extension only uploads the last page of the document.
The Ziflow Adobe extension doesn't have any search filter function, or sorting in alphabetical order facility.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large number of documents being translated into 8 languages, and Ziflow is a great solution for managing and proofing  large quantities of documents.

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

The collaboration aspect is the best part of Ziflow. I like being able to tag other users and keep an open conversation going. I also like how easy it is to swap between different versions of the same assets right in the viewer.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

So far, I don't have any big complaints, but a feature I'd love to add is more filtering options for comments on a proof. Sometimes, we'll have hundreds of comments and I'd like to be able to filter by poster, time, sort by page, etc.

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping proofs running smoothly, allows us to keep our designs more consistent because we can look at all assets in one place. We're also more collaborative because of this tool!

**What do you like best about Ziflow?**

Ziflow is a great tool to collaborate with cross-functional teams. We use Ziflow to analyze the user testing sessions and it's pretty easy to start collaborating directly with the annotation and comments.

**What do you dislike about Ziflow?**

There are a lot of features in Ziflow that sometimes it is overwhelming,

**What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifies the creative concept review process for user interface, graphics, etcs. It was extremely simple for me and my teammates to collect thoughts and feedback.
