Top Rated Zenmap Alternatives

My favorite thing about Zenmap is it's simplicity. It presents enough GUI controls to the nmap command line tool that makes it extremely easy to perform network exploration task without the need to memorize all the command line switches and options of nmap. Zenmap is also flexible enough to allow you to specify a custom command line for nmap beyond the typical use-case presets defined by the Zenmap developers.
Another great thing about Zenmap are it's report views that allow you to examine the network topology and details about each network host that has been detected in each exploration, if the type of exploration performed warrants it.
The ability to save and restore the results of the network explorations is also very welcome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't really anything I dislike about Zenmap. It is a tool with a single purpose and it fulfills it extremely well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zenmap is the best tool for penetration testers, ethical hackers, and cyber security analysts It's used for showing service on web servers, open ports, and versions on web servers.it is easy to use and ease of implimentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
yes, that is a very limited command to use . and in Kali Linux, I'm using a lot of commands. so i think that is some issue of zenmap. also, zenmap's UI is not good but I don't think integration is possible or not with zenmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and convinient, and gives many information by using different plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The result is not saved anywhere, if it automatically saves the result somewhere it would be easy. As i have mistakently ended many running scans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zenmap is a relatively simple tool to use; select your target and the scans you want to perform against it. I can scan for open ports and see which services are running on them. I can also check for malware using scripts from the NSE. Its vulnerability scanning is excellent in identifying vulnerable systems for patching. With Zenmap, you can scan for vulnerabilities, see where they are within your network or devices, and begin patching them. I like that I can scan different or specific systems without having to sit directly in front of them which to me is one of the best things anout Zenmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The scan result can be a little difficult to read and understand. Also, it would be nice if Zenmap could download the updates or patches needed for the vulnerabilities found and install them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, you can get a lot of information from the scans and there's a big community ready to help with the commands if required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to understand at the beginning. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to give you simple scans and sometimes it does bring you all the information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First of all, it's completely free because it is tough to find a free IP scanner for the m1 chip MacBook pro. That's why I love it. Also, it has many features, and results are coming clear and with different styles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, user interface is blurred and not optimized for the M1 MacBook Pro. Sometimes program getting, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The GUI covers everything you need to analyse your entire local area network. It also helps visualize the topology and clearly shows all sophisticated and verbose findings for hosts and devices in the network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The GUI can get pretty non-responsive and the included NPCAP compatibility adapter can interrupt your internet supply due to conflicting metrics but that can be fixed manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zenmap is the GUI based rather then Cmd line based which makes you use for port scanning. It had all available facility to scan network related parameters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Need to add more and more features to analysis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use and power of this network scanner. Learning to use the tool in a cursory manner is relatively easy, which makes getting started with it extremely simple and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit of a learning curve to go from novice to power user. Once you want to delve deeper into what can be done with this tool, it takes quite a bit of further understanding - not as simple and easy as starting off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Zenmap. I use it all of the time to monitor network traffic, and I can see computer, cellphone, and laptop traffic all from one screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I wish the GUI was a little more intuitive, but once you get used to it, it is really quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zenmap is basically Nmap with a user interface, and that's what I really like about zenmap, because zenmap let us scan networks without having to enter most of commands, because zenmap will give us lists of commands that we can select from, with zenmap, we can see the network structure and connected computers in a network topology, which I found really helpful. Its a GUI version of Nmap but, in Zenmap we still have to enter commands to do most of the scans, There is no option to change the font style of the output, or color of the fonts, we wont even get any option to change into dark mode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
