Before joining Zelt, our managers and HR team spent a significant amount of time responding to holiday requests by email or Slack. Through Zelt, employees can view their outstanding holiday balances and submit absence requests which are automatically passed to managers for approval. The platform also flags when team members request overlapping time-off which has allowed us to manage our staffing during holiday periods much more effectively. At the admin level, it is difficult to get full visibility of the team’s calendar so I would like to be able to zoom out. Otherwise, no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I particularly like Zelt’s streamlined payroll flow and integration with Xero. Our old system did not integrate with our accounting system and pension providers which meant we had to manually bridge the gaps. With Zelt, all the relevant payroll calculations are completed, tax information sent to HMRC, accounting journals published and pension contributions submitted before you are passed to your bank to make payments. The system also then generates PDF payslips that employees can access in their profile. Relative to our old system, Zelt saves me at least a few hours each week. Zelt's documents app allows us to keep track of all our company and employee documents. This has saved me from trawling through our folders and emails, and provides visibility over whether we are missing any documents. You can also attach documents to tasks in Zelt, which I have used to create and track tasks for the team to read updated company policies and for new joiners to review our handbook. Zelt has made managing my team significantly more straightforward. Prior to joining Zelt, we used a number of different systems which meant I had to log into these separately or ask one of the team for help. With Zelt, everything is centralised in one location, meaning I can find what I am looking for without bothering my team. The reporting app is especially useful in this respect, as you can quickly generate reports for any fields in the system like payroll, joiners, sick days, etc. I also really like the modern interface and have found the support team very responsive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zelt has saved me huge amounts of time. Before, I had to navigate several systems for employee documents, payroll and holiday requests, but now it's all in a single location. I have found the onboarding features particularly useful for getting the team ready for new joiners, including scheduling intros and asking the joiner to complete compliance tasks amongst other things. Zelt offers all of the HR functionality we need, and has helped us massively over the last two years of using it. It's easy to use for the end user, handles all of our onboarding needs well, and their customer support is genuinely stellar. There have been multiple instances where I've wanted to do something that wasn't fully supported by Zelt and their support would always find a solid workaround or informed me that what I wanted was already on their roadmap. It's so easy to review leave requests and make an informed decision on whether or not it can be approved (based on team capacity). The ability to sync it with my calendar is a nice addition too.

Zelt is the one app our team uses for everything. We use it for booking holidays, checking salaries, managing documents and tracking tasks. For me, handling operations like payroll, compliance checks and payments is a lot more straightforward. I particularly like the automated PDF payslips that my team can access from their accounts which has saved me lots of time. The Zelt team are also super responsive so I feel well supported. I like Zelt's UI which makes it easy to navigate, simple to understand and appealing to make changes or see useful information about colleagues. Additionally, being able to increase/decrease pension contributions so easily is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Pension feature is amazing, however, I've come across a lot of articles on how default investments in workplace pensions are really poor, so I'd love to be able to see where my workplace pension is invested and have the option to change where it's invested. At MVPR, Zelt has been a game-changer in terms of simplifying HR processes. As the sole person overlooking HR, I find the platform super intuitive, especially when managing payroll, onboarding, and time-off requests. The centralised system allows for real-time updates and automates several tedious tasks that used to take a lot of manual effort. The integration with other tools we use, such as Google and Slack, means that communication and workflow are uninterrupted.
