Recommendations to others considering Zello:
Definitely have a system set up for the distribution of usernames/call signs for your group prior to implementing Zello. However, this should be a solid SOP prior to having Zello and should be in use for all other communication systems. Like anything, organization is a key component to success and communications need to be on the cutting edge of this, especially for investigative organizations such as mine. Make sure to conduct training sessions and/or have a training tutorial for new users. There are so many great uses with this product, the user needs to understand how to utilize all of them to have the full affect. It is a great product and creates large amounts of value for whatever organization it is implemented into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Zello solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first thing which comes to mind is the ability to have a secure platform to send sensitive information on not only a peer-to-peer basis, but also to a group. This is extremely important as my usage often includes sensitive information regarding child sex trafficking investigations. Also, definitely broadcasting relevant information in multiple formats instantaneously. We are able to use it as a PTT radio, text facilitator, and in-general communication device. We are able to send all types of information in multiple formats. This is especially useful as we use it for large operations involving investigators for our non-profit fighting child sex trafficking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
