Zeck creates both time efficiency and qualitative improvement of board dynamics. Basically, after living through miserable and outdated board meetings, as both operators and board directors, we decided to completely reimagine the entire board meeting process. Zeck is co-founded by Edward Norton, an award-winning actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, and by Robert and Jeffrey Wolfe, the founders of Moosejaw (acquired by Walmart) and CrowdRise (acquired by GoFundMe). James Zubok, an incredibly experienced software company operator and private equity investor, is a founding partner. You likely know Edward Norton from his day job. The commenting features allow Board members to have input ahead of the Board meeting which helps the team prepare and makes the meeting more focused on value-add conversations instead of just catching everyone up. The tool is easy to use. The Zeck team is extremely responsive and helpful whenever issues arise. **What do you dislike about Zeck?** The export to pdf still leaves some features to be desired. Many investors still require a hard copy and need the pdf to acheive this. I would prefer to see more formatting options on how the pdf is created. I would also like to see a few more formatting options in the content creation, but the simplification is also a benefit. Zeck helped us shorten our board meetings while directors concentrate on the looking toward the future of our organization instead of rehashing the past. Meeting preparation is also a breeze. **What do you dislike about Zeck?** I can't think of a single thing that I dislike. **What problems is Zeck solving and how is that benefiting you?** Preparing a board meeting with multiple documents electronically and hard copies was inefficient and time-consuming. There is a solid onboarding process and then amazing follow up. Support staff and customer service is superlative. As an Executive Assistant to a President & CEO in the non-profit arena, Zeck is a great tool for us and we are excited to grow with it! **What do you dislike about Zeck?** One minor point, I wish I could copy and paste the meeting minutes, it would be a useful option for me. **What problems is Zeck solving and how is that benefiting you?** Zeck is bringing our agency's board meetings into 2024. Having one forum for all our materials streamlines our meetings, and tightens up our presentation. Our board members and executives also find it easy to view and add comments/questions/responses, so they can come to the Board meeting prepared to discuss important topics. Zeck has made that process so much easier, our board meetings more productive and the engagement with my team so much better. New features like meeting minutes, AI editing, and pre signing make the product better and better. More importantly, other teams including sales and engineering have adopted the product to communicate with customers, suppliers and partners. **What do you dislike about Zeck?** Once you use zeck, you will never use powerpoint again. I went from having a giant word doc with spotty note taking to slick presentations, formal meeting minutes, and voting records just in time...and being able to integrate google docs and spreadsheets that automatically update is incredibily useful.
