While ZarMoney works very well for our core accounting needs, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the customization options for reports and invoices are more limited compared to more advanced accounting tools, so we can’t fully tailor layouts to match all our branding or specific reporting requirements. The user interface, while simple, can feel a bit basic in certain sections, and some advanced features or navigation shortcuts that power users might expect are not available. We’ve also noticed that certain third-party integrations outside of standard banking and payment tools require more manual setup or workarounds to connect smoothly. Additionally, some automation features like recurring transactions or advanced expense rules are functional but not as flexible or robust as they could be for businesses with more complex workflows. There’s no ability to create custom dashboards or ad-hoc reports—you’re limited to pre-built templates with fixed metrics. For my business, this means I can’t build a dedicated dashboard for MioDatos partner revenue/profit margins (e.g., tracking revenue per partner, commission costs, and net profit from partner campaigns in one view) or segment inventory costs by product line/partner resale program. I also can’t customize report date ranges beyond basic monthly/quarterly/annual, or export reports in advanced formats (e.g., pivot tables for Excel) without manual reformatting. I dislike the limited document attachment governance in ZarMoney. We can attach supporting documents to transactions, but there’s no way to mandate document attachments for specific transaction types or track when attachments are added or modified. The layout and screen navigation makes sense. For example I can go from entering an invoice for an existing customer to editing the customer file and back to the invoice with just a click or two. There is allowance to create and use some customized fields. We use the custom field feature for things like customer PO number, tracking number and our website order number. I love that it factors in costs and has the ability to create PO's. It is easy to use and imports most of my information from other applications. Data driven based designs is very valuable to any company and this application let's us do that. I can't delete old company's or delete all the data if a major mistake is made. I want to be able to have the ability to remove data that is invalid. There needs to be a way to mass delete data. Right now they said I'd have to destroy my account completely and start all over again to remove the old company with it's invalid data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We run all of our company financials in Zarmoney, including inventory management, importing products from other countries, invoicing our customers, and billing features to pay our vendors. the application works very smoothly and has all the other features that we need. We looked at 10 other accounting solotion, they were either too few features or extremely expensive over $20,000 / y, this was the best after researching over 3 months and so far after 2 years we are very happy. Nothing really; I wish they had more apps which they said they are working on. They have MailChimp, and that all we need now. We used to use Quickbooks, and Zar is much more user-friendly, and it's not buggy like QB,
