It is an open source, easy to use and implement, heterogeneous environment-friendly, as I don't need to use variety of modules individually for storage, servers, network, etc.
It compiles all in one console and provides a single platform for usage, which makes it easier for a large scale organization to have everything on a single screen.
It helps us to identify root cause of any problem easily and has seamless integration with multiple tools like Kaseya, ManageEngine Service desk, ServiceNow, Slack, SMS Gateway, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The current version available is 7.2, and in that we don't have NetFlow, S-Flow and automated topology. The roadmap is however announced, then maybe these issues will be enhanced further and my dislike will be resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can say that with Zabbix we can monitor practically everything that is on the computer network such as UPS, servers, temperature control, ports, applications, services, data centers, websites, etc. In other words, it monitors/manages everything that has Ethernet. Its flexibility to adapt to your business is incredible! With a bit of expertise, another application called Grafana can be configured to further enhance Zabbix, bringing innovative and customized dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Depending on the size of the company and the assets monitored, it will need to have considerable resources to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zabbix offers an extensive and flexible monitoring solution that has met our needs for over 13 years. Its open-source nature allows for full customization, and the platform supports a wide range of devices and protocols, making it ideal for monitoring complex IT environments. The scalability of Zabbix is impressive, as it can handle small setups to enterprise-level deployments with ease. Additionally, the active community and continuous development ensure that Zabbix stays up-to-date with new features and improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Zabbix is highly configurable, the initial setup can be quite complex and may require a steep learning curve for new users. The user interface, while functional, could benefit from a more modern and intuitive design to improve usability. Additionally, more comprehensive documentation or training resources would help accelerate onboarding for new team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the most is the ease of understanding the monitoring, that is, the graphs are displayed in real-time and it is easy to understand how many resources a site, a link, etc., is consuming. It doesn't have strange data; on the contrary, it is quite intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many times the search for elements can become somewhat tedious, and some false positives are also reported regarding link failures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zabbix is extremely useful since it provides complete monitoring throughout our whole IT infrastructure, giving us real-time access into the health and performance of our systems. Its capacity to monitor anything from servers and network devices to cloud services means that no component of our ecosystem is left uncontrolled. One of the most significant advantages is its flexibility; Zabbix supports a variety of data sources and protocols, allowing us to tailor monitoring to our individual requirements. Another significant advantage is the alerting system, which allows us to handle issues before they affect our operations, decreasing downtime and increasing reliability. Zabbix is open-source and free, however the lack of official support might be a disadvantage when dealing with complex issues, as it is highly reliant on community support, which can be hit or miss. These problems can hinder adoption and make it more difficult to fully utilise the platform's advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The single best thing about zabbix is that it's completely free but without lacking anything compared to commercial monitoring tools. It covers pretty much everything from windows servers, esxi servers, HTTP endpoints till our UPS. It produces meaningful graphs and has triggers for each alert. Also it integrates with a lot of tools like Pagerduty to receive alerts. Overall its a complete enterprize level monitoring solution for the infrastructure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say zabbix has 2 downsides. The first is that you need to configure everything and it can be intimidating if you are not experienced user and the second is the web scenarios for http endpoint monitoring isnt neither great nor straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have used zabbix for monitoring our all server and all our website.
And we can create our own templets with that we can make how we need to monitor and what need to be monitor.
Not only server but the application can be also monitored with zabbix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some time the zabbix server is not able to connect for zabbix agent this is a bit issue but a it resolves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the dashboard and the problem by severity chart because you can focus on the most critical issue and take action. Also, I love the graphs cause they are essential for checking historical use or baselines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The forecast functions are not very clear on how to use it. The online pdf or help does not show simple examples of how to use it with primary disk space monitoring for instance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the high availability, the versatility of the design and the efficiency for local monitoring. The visual analysis capabilities, the ability to customize dashboards and system templates are exceptional. Zabbix gives us several options for monitoring and data collection through the REST API and other means. The discovery rules provided by Zabbix are very useful for identifying devices on different network segments through multiple protocols, such as HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP and others. In our case, we mainly use Zabbix to supervise and monitor all Gigabit Ethernet interfaces in our transport network, which is based on a ring topology. Zabbix is perfectly adapted to the needs and requirements of our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zabbix is an excellent tool for network monitoring but I consider that the user interface urgently needs to improve its appearance, as when navigating in it the end user experience feels boring and it is because of the contrasting colors used in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
