Occasionally, the system picks up irrelevant posts that don’t align with our brand, requiring manual filtering.

Its simple to setup and work with, the rules based mention tracking is great. Support team is great and helps with all the questions. I use YouScan on a daily base and highly recomend it for marketing team that want to track brand mentions and discover new promotional channels and influencers.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

"We started to learn more about Social Media Listening because of our client's request. They emphasized the importance of social media monitoring to track what is being said about their company online. And after analyzing the market of monitoring tools, we chose YouScan, considering its pricing policy, wide source coverage, great functionality, and full customer support.

Since that, YouScan helped us identify a significant gap in our social media data. It collects significantly more mentions than we could find manually and can automatically categorizes them based on their own AI. Additionally, YouScan allows us to monitor competitors' media activity, simplifying the tracking of their PR and SMM strategies.

Also, Audience analytics in YouScan enables us to quickly analyze consumer demographics and engagement, as well as assess their opinions on products and services. Aspect analysis helps determine what consumers praise or criticize, and the Insights Copilot assistant significantly simplifies the process of getting quality insights. 

This instrument provides a foundation for forming and testing hypotheses based on real-time data from real people. We can see what the audience thinks and how they formulate their opinions without any guesses.

Its extensive coverage across all types of sources in Social Media. In particular, I would highlight its ability to openly gather content from TikTok, the possibility of collecting direct consumer opinions through Google My Business reviews and other similar platforms. Lastly, its depth in Facebook and Instagram also provides us with great value. The AI developments applied to the platform and the options it offers to analyze all the content are also very interesting.

Not being able to hire all its functionalities and additional modules.

I am concerned that a change in the regulatory landscape of different platforms and social networks could affect the active listening coverage of the platform.

Yuscan is a great Ukrainian platform for media monitoring and reputation management with a huge number of features. Their distinguishing feature is an incredibly human service, the support team always explains the functionality and analyzes and advises what can be improved in use to achieve the required results. Also, this team has a very loyal attitude towards customers and always helps. From our experience, this is a successful and extremely beneficial partnership.

I really like the support, support of the saxe managers, the openness of all employees and a fairly large coverage of mentions.

It would be good if the scan collected mentions from stories, added the ability to measure employee metrics (for example, the response time to a mention, without integrations, but in a ready-made solution from yourself).

As a small business, finding a social listening tool that is both affordable and capable has always been a challenge. Most platforms on the market are prohibitively expensive, especially for a smaller operation like mine. My use cases often differ from the norm, as I don’t typically work with large brands, but instead need access to a broader and more diverse set of data.

What truly sets this tool apart is its versatility. Unlike many social listening tools that fall short, this platform delivers exceptional performance across the board. It offers comprehensive data analysis, including powerful image analysis features that are hard to find elsewhere. This has been invaluable for my work, enabling me to extract meaningful insights from visual content, something that many other tools simply can’t do.

Moreover, the tool’s interface is user-friendly, and it’s clear that the developers have put a lot of thought into making it accessible without compromising on functionality. The support team has also been incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

As someone who works with beauty products, I find the audio monitoring feature incredibly useful for collecting conversations on TikTok, where most beauty product reviews are posted. Unlike many social listening tools that only gather data from X (Twitter), YouScan excels in this area. The logo mention feature is also highly beneficial, capturing posts that don’t include brand keywords in captions or voiceovers, as long as the brand logo is visible. Another standout feature is Insight Copilot, which provides a concise overview of trending conversations.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

However, YouScan has some limitations. It currently cannot pull data from YouTube Shorts, and an add-on is required to extract comments from TikTok posts. While the Word Cloud feature is quite good, unfortunately it still includes conjunctions, pronouns, and prepositions in Indonesian.

My acquaintance with Youskan began almost two years ago, and I am glad to see what a leap forward this service has made in all directions.

When I opened it for the first time in a demo presentation, I realized how much data was missing in my work and how much I had worked blindly before. One hour of the demo was enough for me to understand that this is precisely the product that closes most of the analytics requests.

It's been two years. I continue to use this service, actively using all the cool available features, using integrations, and constantly discovering something new for myself, for which I thank the Yuskan team, which sends information about new features to the mail.

Separately, I would like to note the work of Insights Copilot, an AI assistant that can help you quickly understand what is happening, what key narratives there are, etc.

Special thanks for the fact that the team listens to user feedback and promptly (really promptly, sometimes in a couple of days) makes changes or fixes bugs.

I feel that the platform doesn't have all the insights I need to analyze digital influencers, such as analyzing the specific authors of a particular influencer, estimated fee to advertise with each of them, gender distribution or location of followers for a specific account, etc

The power of your data extraction on TikTok in both audio and image.
Customer service is magnificent, attention is quick and personalized. The team is interested and involved in each of the projects.

The customization of the dashboards and the fact that some widgets, like the one in the "Topics" section, cannot be attached, or when trying to customize some alerts. (but we have already spoken with customer care service and they have taken our comments into account.)

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

I love the fact that it can crawl through all formats of media (Text, Images, Videos, Audios) and not just social listening websites but also consumer forums. The customer service team is also very helpful

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

The representation in certain key markets like China, Japan is not great and I would love to have those markets well represented from local channels. Would also be happy to see some easier ways to analyse / clean / collect data. Currently removing non-relevant data is not easy

It is helping my client monitor conversations about its brand. It is also helping build category context from consumer, trade specialist perspective

It is a dynamic and easy-to-use platform, and the inclusion of AI-generated highlights is a great plus. The team behind YouScan is always very attentive and solves issues, in our case Lina and Isabel.

That you have to pay more for some modules and in the same way that there is a limit to queries to insights copilot, since this tool helps to considerably reduce work time, which is one of YouScan's promises.

Social listenings and benchmarks. The benefit is the reduction of time in the construction of the documents.

We enjoy user-friendly interface of YouScan, and the fact that there's no limitations on the number of users and automatic alerts that we can set up about the important mentions. At the same time it has all the data filters (e.g., by sentiment, sources, and more) and all reports that we need in the social media listening tool. 
YouScan's customer support team has always been friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

It would be great to see more advanced analytics of our owned social channels (but we're aware that YouScan team is already working on these capabilities)

**What problems is YouScan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use YouScan to track all mentions of our brand and our competitors, so we're always in the know when there's something we need to react to - for example, a mention from the top voice in the industry or a journalist, or a potential customer asking for advice on social media.
