**What do you like best about YouScan?**

It allows not only to track mentions of our brand in real time, but also to understand the visual context in which it appears, something that few tools offer. Additionally, the platform is very intuitive, has customizable dashboards, and its alert system helps us react quickly to any important situation. The customer support is also excellent: always quick and friendly.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

In general, I am very satisfied with YouScan. If I had to mention something, it would be that at first the learning curve can seem a bit steep due to the number of features it offers. However, once you become familiar with the platform and take advantage of its training resources, everything becomes very smooth.

**What problems is YouScan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

YouScan helps us solve several key challenges: it used to be difficult to track efficiently, especially in visual media or when we were not directly tagged. We also had problems identifying reputational crises in time. With YouScan, we can now detect relevant mentions in real-time, analyze public sentiment, and better understand the visual context in which brands appear.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

"We got YouScan a couple of years back to track our brand mentions on social media and in the news, and honestly, it's been a huge help for our customer support team. Now we can quickly catch and respond to user comments, even if they're not directly messaging us, which has really improved our NSR.

Our marketing team loves it too. Ever since we joined a new holding company and ramped up our media presence, we've been keeping an eye on the holding’s name and one of its key figures to keep our brand image in check.

The Excel reports are super handy - we just export comments with specific hashtags straight into Excel. During a recent giveaway campaign  participants were asked to leave comments with a hashtag and tag our Instagram account. Using YouScan, we gathered +- 3,000 comments and used the data to randomly pick winners and check out engagement.

With YouScan, we're now focusing on running more marketing campaigns and seeing how they perform. We’re also working on building a dashboard to simplify reporting and analysis. Customer support helps a lot with the setup. "

I really enjoy YouScan's Insights features and how easy is it to navigate through the Analytics section. The cross-channel Sources breakdown is so clean and user-friendly and makes for a seamless inclusion in my day to day reporting.

Our team would benefit from some additional filter or tagging options within the Topics section, but it's a small limitation compared to the many positives we've experienced using the platform.

YouScan is providing access to cross-channel social listening, which is really crucial for us and for our clients. The Search function also effectively provides fast answers for time-sensitive questions.

The visual insights blew us away. We were able to analyze not just text, but how our products appear in user-generated content. Also YouScan’s image recognition capabilities are a game changer, we discovered customer posts that we would have otherwise missed entirely

Occasional misclassifications on sentiment analysis especially around sarcastic or nuanced content. it require manual oversight. also this could be caused by not a native english language.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

Our company uses YouScan to monitor mentions of our brand on the Internet and this is one of the best tools we have ever worked with. Convenient interface, flexible filter settings, deep-level analytics that help analyze any events that occur with our brand outside of our social networks. It is very convenient to monitor reputation and makes possible to quickly respond to mentions in social networks, media and blogs. We as well track mentions of competitors in our niche, see what activities they launch, how their audience reacts to such events, or some communications. It allows us to adopt best practices or prevent some fatal mistakes when launching campaings with our brand. I would like to separately note the support service, they are always in touch and respond quickly. But a special privilege is a personal manager with whom you can solve any issues, starting from organizational ones, such as access, payment, to which pricing plan is better to choose for our needs. I would also like to note that the service looks perfect, since the construction of deep analytics, various dashboards help us quickly see the data and use it to build further strategies in our external communications. I recommend YouScan because it is a really powerful tool, especially if your field is quite debatable, and you need to subtly and quickly feel any fluctuations in mentions and communications on the Internet.

We’ve used YouScan for a few years now to monitor online conversations around our client’s brand. It’s reliable and pretty flexible once you get the hang of it. The custom dashboards and tagging features are especially helpful for organizing and reporting insights. It also integrates well into our workflow and helps us stay on top of emerging trends and shifts in sentiment.

There’s definitely a learning curve, especially with setting up queries and filtering the data effectively. Some of the features aren’t immediately intuitive, so onboarding new team members takes a bit of time.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

YouScan is an excellent tool for tracking brand mentions across social media and various platforms. I really appreciate how you can connect all relevant sources and monitor comments in one place. The automated sentiment and aspect tagging is a huge time-saver and gives a solid overview of brand health without manual effort. It's especially helpful when analyzing how product or policy changes impact customer perception.

The ability to set up custom rules and tags is powerful – I use it for tracking specific campaigns or product updates. The dashboards are customizable, and the comparison features allow for a clear side-by-side analysis.

Integration options with Slack, Telegram, Freshdesk and many other platforms are another big plus. We’ve connected YouScan with Slack, and we receive summaries or alerts for high-risk mentions, which  helps us act fast when something important appears.

Customer support is outstanding – super fast replies, escalation when needed, and they are genuinely open to feedback. There’s also an extensive knowledge base with examples and tutorials. 

Our account manager has been fantastic: she has walked us through the platform multiple times and ensured we felt confident using all features.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

There is nothing particular to dislike, there are few things I'd like to see improved. 

There are some minor issues with the sentiment analysis – occasionally it misinterprets comments sentiment and requires manual adjustments where automation doesn’t get it right. Happens rarely, but it happens 

Dashboard data sometimes isn’t refreshed properly; I have to reload the page to see updated numbers, which is a bit inconvenient. 

Lastly, I would really love to see a native response feature. Right now, YouScan is amazing for monitoring, but it would be even better if we could reply directly to mentions from within the platform

**What problems is YouScan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

YouScan helps us keep track of what people are saying about our brand across social media without having to check everything manually. It shows the mood of the comments, spots trends, and lets us quickly see if something’s going wrong.

We use it to understand how updates and different marketing campaigns affect customer opinions, and thanks to alerts and integrations (like Slack), we never miss important feedback. It saves a lot of time and helps us react faster and smarter.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

The tool is the only one on the market, at least in Brazil, that provides a social listening view of TikTok. Additionally, the volume of data collected, due to audio and image reading, as well as keywords, is much greater. The way they present collected data and the Coppilot also make a difference in reaching insights more quickly. Now I feel that I truly have a more real understanding of the internet. I also couldn't fail to mention the excellent service from the Customer Success Manager, Isabel Gregório, who understands the tool like no one else and provides solutions for all my challenges with clients.

So far there is nothing I don't like, but one point that could help is having a tool that assists us in creating queries.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

We have been using YouScan for our research on consumer trends and we have liked the data collection it offers and its ability to filter them, analyze user sentiment, highlight topics, and visualize key insights, it has been of great value to our team. The interface is intuitive and allows optimizing the search for relevant information on social networks and other platforms.

Additionally, customer support has been excellent, they are always willing to help and resolve concerns. Highly recommended for a team that needs a social media monitoring and analysis solution.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

Although automatic sentiment analysis is quite accurate, in some cases it requires manual review to adjust certain interpretations. Also, occasionally, there are posts that do not perfectly match the search intent, although the margin of error is low and the available filters help optimize the results.

There’s nothing specific I dislike about YouScan itself. Some challenges come from external platforms like Facebook, which affect all similar tools in the market—not just this one

The pricing is quite complex in terms of tiers compared to similar solutions. Make sure you choose the right one.

We have multiple products used worldwide and it has always been a challenge to track, analyze and manage mentions across press, social media, forums, etc. YouScan gets everything in one place, letting you to filter and group mentions, get reports, notice trends, etc.

Boolean search is a bit difficult to use if it isn't something you do everyday- often I spend a lot of time trying to ensure my topic is set up correctly to ensure I'm getting the cleanest data.  Overall, the YouScan interface could be a bit more user friendly.

YouScan is really simple to use: it is easy to create, adjust and customize topics for monitoring and dashboards. There is also an AI Copilot feature, plenty of visualizations, filters, automatic tags, which makes the monitoring and getting insights fast and simple. Speaking of integrations with other services, YouScan is well-integrated with Zendesk and Slack which enables the setup of notification alerts, receiving tickets, which eventually leads to improving time to market of reaction to company mentions, markets events, negative news etc. 
They even track some sources that are claimed as nontraceable in other monitoring services (like Telegram). The support team alongside account manager Oleksandr is responsive, attentive to any issues, always friendly and helpful.

I can definitely recommend YouScan for brand and competitors monitoring.

- Sometimes bugs in dashboards arise - it requires to re-load the page to display actual data;
- Mentions in specific languages (Indonesian) occasionally do not appear in the feeds;

3) Integration with CRM systems: faster reaction to brand mentions as well as a more transparent assessment of Customer Support performance.

- Everyone I've spoken to at YouScan has been exceptional. The people really do make YouScan great and stand out from our similar SaaS tools I've used. 
- We really love the amount of data we have access to, we're proud to be able to offer data sources other platforms simply dont have to our clients. 
- I think some of their tools are exceptional and marketing leading, the image analysis capabilities are particularly impressive.
- We've managed to quickly onboard hundreds of users very quickly and uptake has been super quick. 
- The system itself is easy to use as well.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

- The onboarding process was quick, but we were surprised we had to pay in full and up front. It meant we had to delay onboarding plans. 
- Overall I think YouScan has the data and capabilities, but in some place it's UI feels as though it's in its nascent stages. Having done social listening for nearly 7 years and used most major platforms, I can easily say there are features you'd expect them to have which they dont. But I will say in their defence theyre very open to feedback on what we'd like to see and we have been told some of the features we'd like are on their way.
- The 'back filling' of queries can be really slow, some queries can take up to a day. 
- The use of quote marks in queries doesn't always work as it should - YouScan supports advice for this has been to build out NOT lists.

**What problems is YouScan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved over to YouScan from Brandwatch. Brandwatch started to feel like they had given up on it and were focused on Falcon, theyre social platform. I have been using Brandwatch since 2018 and the amount of new features and tools they had developed were very low. YouScan feels like the opposite of that...! Youscan helps us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of our campaigns for clients. This platform combines powerful analytics and an intuitive interface. Also, they help us uncover real trends, not just all the noise.

Sentiment detection is not 100% right, but I understand 100% sounds unreal. I hope one day they will achieve this target.

Mostly, I'm interested in social media monitoring because we have a lot of activities there. And their dashboard is helping me to manage most of the metrics I need. Based on it's data I do all my reports.

**What do you like best about YouScan?**

We love the platform; it helps us maintain our company’s digital reputation in a consistently positive way, allowing clients and individuals experiencing issues with our services to get near-instant assistance. Additionally, the competitor listening feature has strengthened our strategy, enabling us to remain one of the most important companies in the industry.
The image search tool is also one of our favorites, as it has allowed us to uncover hidden issues through videos and images that didn’t mention our brand in the text.

**What do you dislike about YouScan?**

At times, alerts take between 15 and 30 minutes to be issued. However, in many of these cases, the delay is due to changes within the social networks themselves and cannot be attributed to the platform.

The list of aspects (attributes) is limited. In the case of Dashboards, the color palette for the charts cannot be customized. Mentions are limited, as it can be a problem when a crisis arises.

The most helpful thing about the platform is that it gives access to data from sites like TikTok & Threads that you normally wouldn't find on other social listening tools. I also found it helpful that the AI insights included example posts that match the insights. It was also easy to naviagte and customer support was great.

There are no downsides to using Youscan.

The news digest has its own form, in general this option is suitable, but I would like to have a more flexible way of forming a news digest. That is, the branded version.

From a massive stream of information, I keep track of publications of varying importance. The system also helps us track the audience's reaction to certain publications in order to better provide follow-up publications. Also, the advantage is that the system has tools that help make the perception of information more vivid and interactive. For example, various graphs and diagrams, a word cloud and the geography of publications, which also helps to understand territorial sentiments.

The setup process is simple thanks to onboarding support and the assistance of a Customer Success Manager. The 'merge duplicates' tool optimizes data quality. Additionally, the ability to generate custom reports and share them via a link enhances the user experience.

The automatic sentiment assignment still has errors, but we understand there is no algorithm that does it perfectly. At the same time, we believe that a better visualization of the posts on X would enrich the user experience and facilitate the extraction of valuable insights.
