What do you like best about YoloCast?

With yolocastin combination with the Yolobox devices you have an all in one solution for every situation in place. We are streaming the baseball and softball games for the German baseball and softball youth on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch at once. The network bonding feature is a real game changer here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

There a some features that would make the devices even better like NDI support, Streamdeck integration but nothing we really dislike. The Yololiv team is working hard and every update has some new exiting features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about YoloCast?

It seemingly works as well as the other major platforms. There are a few added features that really stand out for live-streaming. Having the opportunity to add overlays during a live broadcast is a valuable asset. Unexpected things happen when you're live. It's always good to have something to interject, even if just a simple scrolling text overlay. Simulated live has become useful for select events. Something I didn't initially like, but has actually become a benefit... once the event is done, you can rewatch the video within minutes of it ending. You can also trim the beginning and end in case you have excess at the start. But viewers are not able to download it. I charge for replay and downloading. If I can't catch it in time, someone can download it and eliminate the sale opportunity. I also like the recurring stream. One setup, start and stop the stream, recording automatically saved. It's perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

Most obvious is that it's a new service. But I like it, so I'll keep using it. It has not failed yet. It does seem like a solid build. I would like the option to have an image that says the stream has ended rather than the automatic replay. I usually update the web page to state that the stream has ended. I'd like it to happen automatically. It's only a few minutes, but it's a hard few minutes to get immediately after a stream has ended. I'd also like an automated playlist for the recurring stream. Or, an automated playlist based on a select folder. I think I like that better so videos can be added or removed easily upon request. That said, I'm pretty sure all that will happen at some point. YoloCast has been more responsive to customer requests than just about any other company I've used. One other option I would like to see is a reseller's option. I'm setting up an inhouse system for someone, which I'm recommending YoloCast. There is a referral fee. I'm just thinking there may be some better options available for resale. Either way, the new kid on the block is already one of the most powerful kids. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about YoloCast?

Ease of use! All-in-one switcher. The built-in live stream capability with multiple inputs makes the Yolobox the simplest solution for a one-person operation. But the power and flexibility is there for large productions as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

Really there isn't much of anything anymore. I own the original Yolobox as well as the Yolobox Pro. Some of the issues of the past are continually addressed and fixed with their Non-Stop updates which is one of the biggest Pros for this company. The updates come so quickly and are so Community centered that issues don't seem to last long. My biggest has been being able to have Network bonding built into the system since it already has three potential inputs for connectivity. But even that seems to be being addressed in the latest updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about YoloCast?

Yolocast's features are beneficial. My best feature is their event manager, which allows me to schedule multiple events in advance. Each event has separate analytics, an excellent iFrame for embedding and a nice countdown timer (on the iframe). The other feature I love is the sources feature which alloows me to define multiple RTMP sources. This is useful because I work with a variety of different "streaming" companies, and so I can give each company its own dedicated RTMP stream key - this is a pretty big deal if you have a workflow like mine, and no other platform does this quite as well as Yolo. I nearly forgot the most amazing feature of Yoloocast is the recorded live-stream transcode feature which can turn a massive live-stream file into a tiny MP4. No other live-streaming platform offers transcoding this effecient - it is truly impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

The major downside is the 1TB of monthly bandwidth; however, I have spoken to their product team, and they are adding the ability to purchase extra terabytes of bandwidth at $100 per terabyte. This is slightly expensive however, still competitive enough for me to pass this cost on to my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface allows a simple straight forward setup. It just works. I stream to multiple locations frequently and have found Yolocast to be easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

I have been using Yolocast for about 3 months now, streaming to several destinations as needed and broadcasting 24 hours a day without any issues. I do not have anything negative to say about Yolocast at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about YoloCast?

The ability to embed videos and live streams to my customized websites and portals. I can restrict who can see my content and even put it behind a paywall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

I've been using Yolo hardware for a few years now and absolutely love the community they have created around their products. Their staff are friendly and responsive to our needs. If I could improve one thing about Yolocast it would be to have 24 hour availability of support staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about YoloCast?

Yolocast has allowed us as a company to get streams from Yolobox equipment and save it on the cloud. We really like the feature to select highlights, embed it into your website and stream to many destinations like youtube and facebook all at once! This has allowed our company to record our streams and help our workflows when doing on-site events Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YoloCast?

Yololive is currently in a phase where they are constantly changing. Sometimes you have to check for updates on the software for the embedded code and sometimes it has inconsistencies with previous embedded code. Their product release cycle would be great if they involved versions that notify their clients of an upcoming change. Many customers have embedded code on their sites for long-term usage or views for their customers.

We would also hope the feature of white labeled logos to come back in embedded pages as it was once there in the past and not available anymore Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
